Arvindha Bhatia's POV

I rushed towards the medical camp, as it was the first day and I was late. I was delayed as I met princess Juhi in the morning and helped her with legs muscle exercise she usually does with Sandeep to strengthen her muscles and keep the blood flow consistant.

Princess Juhi is quite calm and collected, despite of being in the wheelchair for two years her spirit hasn't died down and I admire her for that.

Plus she was comfortable to be with, despite the fact I felt like I was talking to my mirror image. But she made it seem so easy and natural. Guess it a part of the royal upbringing, but what I noticed when I helped her train was she was that, she was humble and quite funny too, cause Sandeep and her kept bickering over nothing at all.

As I signed into the log book, my colleagues gave me weird looks, cause Vijayanthi ma had gone all the way out in disguising me as per the orders.

Now my head was covered with an extremely curly haired wig, thick pencil drawn eyebrows and dark coloured lips. Though I protested I was even made to wear my scarf. It was scorching hot out here in the fields and I was sweating. This disguise was hideous but thankfully none questioned me directly cause each one of us was from different colleges.

Only Svasthi and Rishab, who knew me already knew the reason.

As I made my way towards my camp clinic,

"Omg Arvi this is hilarious!! I didn't know the court lady would be this upto mark." I heard Svasthi exclaim as she took in my appearance.

As I signed into the log book, my colleagues gave me weird looks, cause Vijayanthi ma had gone all the way out in disguising me as per the orders.

I just rolled my eyes at her, when Rishab said

" Gosh if that security Dhruv sees you like, this time he might sack you for looking like a criminal!!!"

" Dhruv is a Royal commander in Chief not a security guard Rishab." I exclaimed.

"Omo Arvi why are you defending your abductor? What did that idiot say yesterday that your on his side today?"

As I recalled yesterday's events my ears felt hot and for once I was thankful for Vijayanthi ma's disguise as it hid the blushed colour of my cheeks.

When I didn't answer, " Did that bastrad harass you again? I swear I'll murder him the next time I see him!"

" Geez Svasthi will you calm down! No he didn't harass me but apologized instead." I clarified before she came with something more extreme.

" Atleast he has manners." Risbah pointed out and I nodded my head in agreement whereas Svasthi just snorted.

" Is everything alright here Arvindha?" I saw Sandeep entering my camp and I smiled at him, while nodding my head.

" So are you guys ready to shift into the palace with your medical stuff?" He asked but focused his gaze on Svasthi.

" Is that really necessary?" Svasthi countered.

Before this could turn into another argument I intervened saying, " We're ready just wait a few minutes while we just get some more medicine supply packed." Sandeep nodded his head as he again turned to look towards the direction where Svasthi had stormed off towards her camp.

" Hey are you done staring at my best friend?" I questioned.

When I got no answer I stomped on his foot and he exclaimed, " Ouch what was that for? "

" I'm observing you since yesterday and you've been staring at Svasthi, are you trying to flirt with her? "

I questioned directly cause I didn't want to take chances in my best friends case.

I thought he would disagree but he instead said, " No not flirt, okay maybe healthy flirting but yes I'm interested in her." His answer was direct and I didn't know if I should be pleased with his honesty or worried for his safety, cause Svasthi was hard to convince, not your typical romantic girl.

" Sandeep she's my best friend and I can't stand seeing her hurt, so if your feelings aren't clear don't bother her and plus don't waste your time either cause she's not your typical girlfriend."

"Arvindha I know my limits you needn't have to worry. And don't worry I have no intentions of hurting her. And about her being tough that's what is attractive about her. " he replied and I shook my head at his optimism.

While I was packing Sandeep suddenly said,

" So what did my brother say yesterday?" He asked.

"Nothing much Sandeep...." I was cut off,
" Sunny just call me Sunny cause now you're my friend too!" He said with grin.

" Well nothing Sunny, he apologized for his actions and rude behavior." I told him when he smirked in turn and now I was worried cause Sandeep's smirk never meant good and I had seen that today morning with the princess.

" Of course he has to, to be in your good books! " he said and before I could ask what he meant by that Svasthi and Rishab entered with their stuff in cardboard boxes and Sunny was back to staring at her, while she blatantly ignored his stare.

" Let's go" I said to get out of the awkward situation.

" This way princess!" Sunny said to Svasthi.

" Your princess is in your palace, keep these endearments to yourself" she said as she started moving ahead with Sunny trailing behind her.

" Woah woah what am I missing here? Why is Sandeep following Svasthi like a lost puppy?" Rishab asked.

" Well my dear best friend you could say it's puppy love!" I said.

As we walked towards the palace I told Rishab about Sandeep's confession and to say Rishab was shocked at Sunny's guts was an understatement.

We've seen Svasthi since since four years and not once did she give guys any time of her day. And now to see Sunny trying to get her attention would sure be entertaining.

" I would love to see Svasthi flustered once atleast Arvi! This is getting interesting." Rishab said smirking to himself as we saw Sunny and Svasthi endlessly bickering in front of us.

Once we entered the palace Vijayanthi ma showed us a hall where we could set up our medical station.

The hall was so beautiful that I was worried of getting it dirtied, but Vijayanthi ma insisted that it won't be a problem and not to worry about cleaning.

Princess Juhi too was in the hall in her wheelchair. She sat behind a wooden table with a few log entry books. " Hey guys just set up all your equipment and the consultations will start post lunch. All the royal palace workers with their family will come. And Arvindha we have around four to five pregnant royal servants, I hope it's not a problem?" Juhi asked.

" No not at all Svasthi and I can take care of that, while Rishab can take care of the kids and even old people. " I replied.

" By the way what are you doing here Princess?" Rishab asked as he looked around the space.

" First of, you can all call me just Juhi please. Second of, to answer your question Rishab, I'm doing my major in finance and economics, so I'll be doing all the financial work regarding the medical camp costs and medicine charges, as this is also a part of my final year project." She clarified.

" Aren't you our age?" Svasthi asked.

" Yes I'm Arvindha's age but I took a year gap after the accident so I'm a year behind." Juhi replied with a far off look.

I pinched Svasthi for touching a sensitive topic and she apologised under her breath.

"So you can all set up your stuff, you can ask the workers for any help you'll need. Lunch will be in another two hours Juhi." Saying this Vijayanthi ma left leaving behind a few workes.

The next two hours were spent in setting up the medical area and supplies. Sunny all the time trying to get Svasthi's attention but getting ignored like air instead. Meanwhile Rishab and I told Juhi about Sunny's confession and instead we got shocked when Juhi told us she knew about it all long.

As we just joked and made fun of each other, suddenly I felt being here with a princess who looked like me was not so bad.

My phone rang and I saw it was Veer ajja, in all that had happened I hadn't spoken to him for two days and now was not the time to explain all that had happened. Ajja would be very worried and I don't want to bother him. So instead I texted saying I was busy in the camp and would call back in the night.

Everyone was at the dining table for lunch, as we had our food, Dhananjay ajja said, " Doctors I hope you guys are all settled in? And have no trouble?"

" No ajja everything is fine and thanks for allowing us to use the hall." I replied.

" No no Arvindha it's because of us all this happened and it's our duty to make sure you're all safe and comfortable." Om uncle said. We smiled at them and lunch was soon over.

Dhruv wasn't here for lunch and I was disappointed when I learnt he wouldn't be able to come. I had no reason to be upset but yet I was sad. Since the first time we met, he somehow managed to captivate me in his brown orbs and I decided not to think much of it, cause I doubt he would even care about me.

As we entered the hall a line of patients stood and I spotted two pregnant females amongst them.
As we got on with our check up I didn't know when time passed, it was already six in the evening and we decided to close the camp for the day. I decided to call ajja and talk to him about all that happened. I informed everyone and went towards the garden area.

Dhruv Meghdha's POV

I reached the palace late, the evening just before dinner. I was still worried about Arvindha and her friends response when I tell them about our plan and I still have no idea how to convey it in a better way. With a week's time before the press conference I'll have to tell them today.

Once I freshened up I went down for dinner, where Juhi, Svasthi, Rishab and Sandeep were all chatting amongst themselves.

" Bro finally you're here, can you call Arvindha for dinner she's in the garden." Sunny said.

" It's okay I'll call her."Svasthi said but Sunny pulled her back by her shoulders and stared at her, while she matched his stare with hers.

Rishab offered but seeing Juhi was telling him something, so I decided to go ahead myself. Something's fishy here, I just don't know it yet.

As I entered the garden area, I saw Arvindha on the phone talking to someone, I approached her quietly and sat on the bench next to her. She saw me and was so startled that she moved away.

Damn! why did that hurt? Sure she has a right to be scared but seeing it so up close isn't pleasing.

" Ajja I'll call you tomorrow and keep you updated, don't you worry worry about me. Svasthi and Rishab are here too. You take your medicines on time don't forget okay. Bye, love you ajja." She finished the conversation and turned towards me.

With a smile on her face, " That was my ajja, he was worried as I hadn't called since two days. By the way you startled me! Why are you here?"

" Dinner is gonna start soon, so I'm here to call you."

" Oh, ok then let's go. " she got up and I followed her lead.

" What's the deal with Svasthi and Sunny?"

" Oh you noticed too? Sunny's interested in Svasthi and is trying to get her attention."

" What???!! "

" Ahh don't yell Dhruv! I know it's shocking but he was sincere in his feelings so there's nothing you can do about it. "

I shut up cause I had no intentions of humiliating myself in front of her again.

As we walked back she told me all that happened throughout the day and I discovered she really warms up to people once she knows them. An admirable quality for a doctor indeed my brain spoke up and I had to agree cause it was indeed admirable.

Dinner was a normal affair as usual just with few extra people and the talks were simple and light too.

As we were sitting in the hall, I finally decided to bring up the topic and said,

"Guys I have some news, why don't we go to the lounge to discuss it? "

Sunny and Juhi nodded their head in understanding and soon each of us walked out towards the lounge.

( Lounge Area )

Sunny occupied the two seater and with great difficulty got Svasthi to sit next to him. It was fun watching Sunny struggle over a girl.

Rishab and Juhi have been discussing God knows what, but Juhi sat next to me, while Rishab who was wheeling her, sat next to me and next to him was Arvindha.

When I looked around my eyes clashed with black ones and I had to look away before I forgot the reason for coming here.

I took a deep breath and was about to begin when.....
" Dhruv what's the matter you look anxious? " Rishab questioned next to me.

" Nothing Rishab, let's get on with what I've got to say. "
