Difficult times we are all facing because of the lockdown. Everyone stay safe and healthy and most importantly follow social distancing and wear a mask at all times.

Dhruv Meghdha's POV

Coming out of Arvindha's room I couldn't help the smile on my face.

I couldn't believe she agreed to our proposal and that she trusted me enough to make this decision.

I was honestly worried cause there was no time. But now I see hope, as with the time Arvindha buys us by being Juhi, will give me enough time to put Raghuveer behind the bars and punish him for his crimes.

The next day I came out of ajja's room after telling him and dad about Arvindha's approval. They were relieved and also quite thankful for Arvindha's help.

They even made me promise them to protect her till the end and I did, cause I realised she had a very big heart for having agreed for something that could put her life in danger.

Sunny, Rishab and Svasthi all met me in the hall.

But suddenly Svasthi stomped upto me and shouted saying " How is it that Arvi agrees to everything you say after talking to you? How could you let her put herself in danger when you clearly saw what happened yesterday?"

" Svasthi calm down Arvi already told us that she wanted to do this. " Rishab said pulling her away from me.

But I too was angered this time, and before I could stop myself I said " Listen I would never put a person's life in danger willingly. But the situation demands this and I've already promised to protect her to the best of my ability. So just trust me and try to understand this Svasthi."

" Guys stop it! Stop arguing like this, Arvindha made her choice and we must respect that, Svasthi trust me bro will protect her no matter what. She's important to us as important as she's to you'll." Sunny interfered.

" Oh yeah? Then where were you guys when she was abducted yesteday? Huh tell me?" She said jabbing her finger into Sunny's chest.

Barely holding in my anger I closed my eyes for a second and  opened them, only to see Sunny dragging away Svasthi with him to God knows where.
Atleast I didn't have to deal with her temperament.

" I'm sorry about that, but Svasthi is very protective of Arvi and me too. But I respect Arvi's decision and I'm trusting you to protect her when I can't.
Arvindha is too kind and usually never back offs from helping someone in need. This led to her being used during her college days and since then Svasthi has turned into an overprotective sister for her. More so especially after her parents death." Rishab told me.

" Thanks for telling me this and trusting me. I promise we aren't trying to use Arvindha for our personal gains. It's only the situation that demands this. I'll protect her with all I have." I told him sincerely cause I needed atleast him to understand being a male friend of Arvindha.

Rishab nodded his head in understanding and moved towards where Juhi was sitting.

I've seen them interact and be friendly with each other. And I'm happy Juhi found a companion other than me and Sunny. Cause after her breakup and accident she had closed herself off and I could see Juhi warming upto Rishab.

Suddenly I felt a stinging pain on my shoulder and noticed the blood staining my shirt.

Great! I had probably managed to rip off the stitches when I was screaming at Svasthi. Damn that girl just gets on my nerves way too much. Wonder how Sunny tolerates her tantrums.

I was walking back to my room, when Arvindha saw me. She looked like she was going down to the hall.

" Oh my God Dhruv! Did you rip out your stitches or what? ?" She said coming towards me.

" No it's nothing. I'll just change the bandage." But ignoring me she walked closer to me and I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked in her white coat.

Realizing what I was thinking I cursed myself cause she basically looked like Juhi who was like a sister to me. But for some reason thinking of her as a sibling caused a bitter feeling in my heart. Thinking I was losing my mind I looked towards her.

Her small frame couldn't reach my shoulders, so she was on her toes as she inspected the damage, with her delicate fingers holding my shirt collar.

Arvindha Bhatia's POV

As I was walking in the hallway I noticed Dhruv. His pale  blue shirt was stained with blood near his shoulder area. Worried  I asked about it, but he brushed it off like nothing.

Deciding to see what was the extent of injury, I got onto my toes to inspect it, cause he was more than a foot taller than me. When I got back on my feet properly, I realised how close we were and moved back putting some distance between us.

" Where's your room? You'll have to restitch that and clean it to prevent infection." I said as I pulled him with me cause he showed no signs of replying to me.

We reached his room, and my brain teased saying how eager I was. I blocked out my thoughts cause now wasn't the time to worry about my feelings.

" You didn't have to, I could've managed." Dhruv said.

" Yeah right and then you would have infected your tissues and nerves causing paralysis! Is that your way of handling things? " I snapped annoyed at his excuses.

" Where's the first aid?" I asked looking around the room.

His room was in warm shades of brown, gold and cream, that it reminded me of his eyes. I was pulled out of my musings, when Dhruv pulled me towards the washroom and pointed at the cabinet above the sink.

Finding the first aid I made him sit on the stool that was placed near the bathtub, and took out all the supplies I needed to suture his wound.

As I proceeded to remove his buttons, Dhruv suddenly held my wrist causing me to yelp cause it was still healing. Realizing what he did he let go of my wrist immediately.

" I'll do it." He said gesturing to his buttons. When he was struggling with the 2nd one I swatted his hands away, " Enough your hurt and can't move your hand much, let me do it." I said despite the rise in my heartbeats as a result of being so close to him.

It was difficult not to look at his body that was so sculpted and toned and I had to remind myself what I was doing, before I accidentally touched his abs.

Getting rid of his shirt, I proceeded to remove the bandage he had on and discarded it into the bin. Noticing the cut was deep and it went from his clavicle to his shoulder blade, I took the antiseptic in my  hand and moved to stand behind him as I could get a better picture of the cut.

" What are you doing?" Dhruv asked seeing me move around him.

" Your cut is more deep at the back than at the front, I can get a clearer view from here. This will sting a bit." I told him as I pressed the cotton with antiseptic against his wound. I heard him hiss and fist his palm, and I felt sorry for him, as he got  hurt while rescuing me.

Once I finished cleaning his wound I gave him a little local anaesthesia around his wound, and took the suturing needle and thread to stitch it up.

Five minutes into the job and I finished up the suture successfully. As I reached from behind him for the bandage in front of him, my face was so close to his I was afraid he would hear my rapid breathing. Just as I was about to move away, he suddenly turned his head, and we were barely few inches away. He was just staring at my face and I was trying to not make it obvious that I liked him. But what surprised me more was when he further tilted his head, and I thought he was going to kiss me!

Gasping at the sudden  proximity I moved back swiftly as I tried to calm my racing heart. Being this close to him is dangerous. Point noted my brain answered.
When I looked back at him, he was inspecting his wound without realising the situation he had put me know. Shaking my head to clear it of unnecessary thoughts, I proceeded to unwrap the gauge in my hand.

I hurried to wrap the bandage neatly and carefully around the wound. Once I was done I moved to put the stuff back into the box.

I heard him stand up in front of me and I had to use all the will power in me to not stare at his chest that was directly in my line of view.

" That's done.  Remember not to get it wet, and change the bandage everyday. You can ask any of us for cleaning it up. Thank you for saving me and I'm sorry you got hurt in the process." I said it all in one breath as I put the box back into the cabinet.

" No thank you for the help. And about saving you, it's my duty from now on." He responded, while looking straight into my eyes.

Not knowing how to respond to that, I moved out giving him a smile and told him to get changed.

Once I was out in the hallway I put a hand against my chest to calm my rapidly beating heart.

I was a science student and no fool not to know the cause of my tachycardia. But the problem was how quick it happened. There was no denying I liked him but I didn't know about him.

Oh my God! Arvi you're getting too ahead with yourself. It's only been a week since you got here just take it slow. My rational side , but deep in my heart I knew I had fallen for him and that too hard, cause no man had ever caused my heart to be such a condition.

Once I was calm enough I moved towards the hall, where everyone were present and got on with my work along with Svasthi and Rishab. I dared not to tell them anything cause I'm pretty sure in the given circumstances Svasthi would for all I know kill me and Rishab, well I could tell him about my confused feelings, but I'm damn sure he would spill the beans to Svasthi.

Plus it's one sided not like we're dating or something where I should tell them. Convincing myself it wasn't necessary I tried to focus  back  onto the work which I had in front of me.
