Sandeep's Aesthetics

(Continuation of the same day when Arvindha had her graduation.)

That night after dinner I sat in the balcony overlooking the royal garden which an assortment of flowers, that me and my mother had designed as we were both nature lovers and more so for flowers.

I saw the little pond amidst all the colorful flowers, scattered with the infamous blue lotus of Medhinapur province, that is present in abundance in all the water bodies here. My great grandmother really was a prodigy in her time to have thought about naming our palace with the sanskrit name for blue lotus - Kuvalaya, I smiled as I remembered the story I had heard as a child.

As I gazed at the clear night sky, with the moon shining brightly made me think of my future companion. With the events that took place in my life, love found no place till now, and girls my age here already would've dated three to four guys. I frowned upon that thought, cause why not I'm already twenty four and I haven't  even had my first kiss.

"Who you dreaming of princess?"

"Urghh Sunny why can't you act like a normal person? And who do I have in my life to think about other than two idiotic monkeys!" I finished off just as Dhruv entered the balcony too shaking his head at out bickering.

Sandeep suddenly questions, " I wonder what Dhruv's wife would be like? I mean this guy doesn't know the first thing about dating, despite being a heartthrob during his college days, thanks to his permanently frowning face and cold personality, girls wouldn't even think about approaching him. "

"Sunny seriously you need to stop worrying about my romantic life and worry about your own flirtatious attitude that drives women crazy, I just want some girl to reject you and that would be a delight for me. " Dhruv replied haughtily.

Neither of them took it lightly when their non-existent romantic life was discussed about, both had high levels of male ego and just too much testosterone for their own good, now what good does that do except for their hot manly features!

" Now if you both want to discuss your non-existent romantic lives atleast please get yourselves wives or girlfriends so that I'll have company too, being with you two over the years I'm losing my girly vibes here! " I shouted in frustration as here I too was internally worried about my own romantic life, which again is non-existent, I mean are we cursed or something for not having one love interest also so far, maybe we've been too busy with royalty that we didn't even notice the lack of it.

"You know what princess first you get married, then me and Dhruv will get settled with one of his cousins or friends, right bro?" he excitedly stated looking at Dhruv, who only snickered back at his fantasies, but who knew how closely fantasies and realities were related.

"Dhruv isn't the medical campaign starting from tomorrow?"

"Indeed it is, the medical volunteers will arrive tomorrow by 8:00am according to my sources and they'll be housed in the palace guesthouse."

"Argh finally something interesting is happening after two years, could I help in any way?"

"I think ajja will have you look into the daily financial log book for the medicine cost as this will be a free camp sponsored by us for our people." Sunny stated, to which Dhruv agreed saying,

"That is the plan as of now Juhi as you're doing you're online course in business management and finance. Speaking of which isn't it you're last semester for which you have to submit a project analysis? "

"Yeah Dhruv and I haven't even thought about my topic yet!?" I exclaimed as I remembered the project I have to turn in, in two months time. "Juhi why don't you do this medical camp financial report as your project itself, isn't that more convinient and better also ?" Dhruv suggested.

"Wow bhai two birds one stone strategy huh?" Sunny teased while I grinned in approval at the suggestion.

"What would I do without you two?", I said as I hugged them both by their waists and Sunny replied "Nothing princess!" laughing like a hyena, at this Dhruv said "Let's go in, it's already late." as they both wheeled me into the hallway.

Uff, hey fellas finally we're nearing the time for our leads to meet finally.
