~ Chapter.8 ~

Decision Making Part . 1
( This chapter is being divided into four  parts for convenience )

Juhi Mitra's POV

Just having finished our lunch, I and Sunny sat in the hall going over the medical doctors list who had come that morning and checking their backgrounds to ensure that no spies had entered the Royal Grounds. It's essential, even more so now as ajja is  worried about our enemies as well as the public getting impatient with no news or public appearance of myself.

Dhruv had just left post lunch to inspect the campaign area.

"Woohoo! Isn't she beautiful princess?" Sunny questioned shoving one of the medicos picture in my face.

Indeed she was pretty with short wavy locks and a sharp nose.

" Yeah why? Is she you're next target? Spare yourself Sunny seriously she doesn't look your usual type." I started honestly.

" Exactly Juhi even more of a reason for me to be intrigued don't you think?  I mean she looks like a challenge!" I knew he would do what he wants no matter what I say, that's why he's our Sunny, and being a lead archer in the Royal Sports Committee, he's blessed with eagle eyes to get his targets.

As we continued our checking, my eyes landed on a medico I was inspecting, he looks too toned and well built to be a pediatrician according to his resume.

"Rishab" I read out under my breath, what a catchy name I thought to myself. Something just about his facial features and his black orbs caused my intestines to fold up in a bundle of nerves.

" Aren't you staring at that picture for a bit too long princess?" I was startled out of my imaginations by Sandeep's voice, as I stared at him blankly he questioned "What caught your tongue?"

And proceeded to pull the resume I had in hand.

" Must say he's a good choice princess, just don't know if he can manage you're tantrums without becoming a psycho!?" Sunny laughed at his own pathetic joke, while I glared at him.

"Not like I have a chance." I started in a low voice.

When Sunny raised his eyebrows in confusion, " I don't even know when I'll be able to walk again Sunny despite all the treatment I can't even stand without support for one minute, what man would want a woman like me?"

I voiced out my hidden concerns which I usually don't discuss about with him.

" Juhi you need to stay positive and if a man's going to judge you by just a mere physical disability then shame on our masculinity, honestly your the most caring woman I've seen in my life, and trust me I've seen many.", Sunny said trying to save me from my ever drowning self-pity.

I gave him a smile of appreciation and said, "I just hope he knows that" as I filed Rishab's resume into our log book.

" Hey mister could you atleast tell me where you're dragging me? I've been asking you since ever and all you've been doing is giving your damn silent treatment!" came a frustrated shout through the hall way.

Sunny pushed me from behind the table to the front as we waited for the people to come into sight.

Dhruv entered the sitting are holding a woman in white coat by her shoulders as he struggled to bring her along.

As I was about to question his manners in dragging a woman around like that, the woman who I assumed to be one of the newly arrived doctor for the camp turned around and her face revealed only to steal my breath away.

Arvindha Bhatia's POV

"Juhi? Who Juhi? Who is Juhi?" I questioned the man back after a pregnant pause thinking he must have confused me with someone else.

But his eyes held so much concern and care in those short moments that I thought this woman he was mistaking me for could be his girlfriend or even better his wife.

But as soon as the words left my mouth his expression changed to that of confusion and then to what seemed like pure anger.

He who had just saved me from my fall, staggered back suddenly dropping me onto the floor.

Shocked at his behaviour, " Hey you could've warned me! Idiot." I said out loudly in frustration and got up dusting my bottoms off.

Without even a moments hesitation he grabbed me by my shoulders, forcing me to face him, as he asked "Who sent you as a spy here and why are you dressed up like the princess. Speak now and I will be lenient towards you." he suddenly barked out.

When I didn't answer back due to my lack of understanding he spoke into his bluetooth device,
" Ask the Maharaj and father to be present in the sitting area, we have a spy in the area."

As realization dawned upon me, I tried to get out of his grip," No! no! you got it all wrong mister, I'm no spy, I'm just a doctor volunteering here, I think you're confusing me with someone else" I said in a hurry to clear the air, but the only answer I got in turn was him dragging me through the clearing without even paying attention to my words.

The entire medical staff stood stunned watching the sudden turn of events.

As my eyes met with Rishab and Svasthi, I saw them approaching me through the crowd, when my captor barked once again, " Don't move or the consequences will be bad. Guards bring those two to the investigation room as well", he said gesturing towards Rishab and Svasthi.

When I tried to protest, he looked back at me saying, " If you even care an ounce for their safety move quietly with me. " he threatened.

That was enough to earn my cooperation, in the events unfolding currently I couldn't make sense of anything and the least I can do is keep my friends safe.

We continued to walk through a long path and finally the Royal Palace came ino full view. He still continued to drag me, but getting tired of his maltreatment, " Atleast let my friends go they have nothing to do with this. " I tried requesting.

" Whether they're involved or not we'll know once you're identity is revealed" he said out as he continued pulling me through the hallways.

All along I kept questing him and pleading only to have him drag me by putting his arms around my shoulder.

We finally reached the sitting area and I stopped talking as I saw two other people in the room and moved to adjust myself in his unyielding grip.

A well built man with brown orbs stood with his hands holding a wheelchair.

As my gaze moved down and landed on the face of the person in the wheelchair, I felt the air get knocked out my chest, while I simultaneously heard two sharp intakes of breath.

Nothing in my life could've prepared me for such a twist of fate, as I felt light headed at the strange events occurring in my life since an hour ago!

Hey fellas! There we go finally we have our leads all meeting for the first time.
What do you guys think will happen to Arvindha?
