Attention: How do you guys like the story so far I think its turning out great but guys this is a story where Pearl is the antagonist instead of the heroine if you don't like that type of thing then .... GET OUT because I don't take haters.

 I don't like the way Pearl talked to Sapphire, I thought Usually Pearl was much nicer than that but that was only when we were.... Garnet!

" Ruby, did you hear me!" Sapphire said yelling t me for not paying attention.

"Huh?"

Sapphire laughed " I need you to get me a large mixing bowl, two eggs, some milk, a big spoon, the mixer, a measuring cup, a big pan, and the cake powder," She said " That's up in the cabinet at the top!"

I gathered all the things she said except for the cake powder. Ugh, who put it that high up I cant reach! Maybe we should become Garnet then I would be more on task and focused.

I started thinking Pearls way " Hey, Sapphire we should fuse, I cant reach the cake powder stuff. We could also get this done ten times as fast!"

She continued hanging up colorful streamers, ignoring my every word. So, I continued.

" Sapphire, uh..... I cant reach the cake stuff.... we should really-"

"Get a ladder! Its right next to you or if you prefer you can climb up onto the counter and get it." she said not turning to look at me.

I started to feel annoyed at this silence game. Oh sure, ignore Ruby!!!! I pulled the ladder over and unfolded it. I climbed up carefully and grabbed the box of cake powder.

"Oh no! Sapphire I am going to fall we have to fuse to save me!" I yelled directing the message to her.

"Why do you want to fuse so badly!" She yelled back. "I just wanted to go a day without fusing with you so that both of us could make Steven have the best birthday ever. Ever since Pearl said that you changed your mind on us doing this together. You were the one who had thought of this in the first place!!! Stop it now, Ruby, your making me cry!!" She yelled.

I gave her the box of cake and sat on the couch alone, far away from her where I couldn't hurt her. Why did I hurt her feelings like that! What's wrong with me! 

"Ruby, I'm sorry for yelling at you." She said mixing the batter.

"I'm sorry too, its just that I started to think that I was getting in your way and making things harder for you because I kept spacing out in front of you. " I replied wiping tears away from my eyes.

"Hand me the big pan over there.!"

I got up from the couch, not feeling useless any more. I grabbed the big cake pan and tried handing it to her.

"Sapphire...Sapphire here.." I shook the pan in her face. That's strange she didn't normally space out like I did unless she was using her future vision (which I didn't have)

She snapped out of it almost instantly when I touched her hair.

" Huh... what.. oh thanks." she took the pan out of my hand.

"Were you using future vision just now?" I asked nervously.

"Uh...No." She said pouring the rest of the cake batter into the pan before putting it into the oven.

"Wait," I said watching her carry the large bowl with a bit of batter at the bottom to the sink . " Do you think I could eat that?"

She giggled handing over the bowl, I had seen Amethyst do this a million times before and I wanted to try it out. I whipped up some of the cream on my finger and licked it off.

"Mmmmmm!!!" I said, " This is actually good, Amethyst was right."

To get a whole lot more batter I put half my hand in the bowl scooping up a lot of it. Half my hand was in my mouth while I watched Sapphire fix the streamers hanging from the ceiling. She's so pretty, I'm glad I have a girlfriend like her!

"Hey Ruby, can you go check on Pearl, see how she is coming along!" Sapphire said not looking back from her decorations.

I pulled my hand out of my mouth covered in spit. " Mm K!" I said turning to run off to Pearl.

( In Pearl's room)

" Pearl," I said looking around at the amazing sight of water moving across the room to the other in a waterslide like form. It was all beautiful as It looped around the tallest waterfall where Pearl stood controlling the flow. Pearl appeared to be crying as she stood up there.

" Pearl are you alright!!" I called up to her.

"Go away, and don't come back. " She yelled back echoing throughout her room.

I shivered at her slight change of voice, No way was I dealing with her attitude. I ran to get Sapphire so I wouldn't be alone.

"Sapphire, something's wrong with Pearl!!!" I said running towards her.
