" AAAAGH!!!!!!!!!" Someone other than me screamed. I opened my eyes to see a blue figure.

     " SAPPHIRE!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as I saw the horrible sight of Pearl's spear directly through her middle. Then Sapphire glowed and retreated into her gem. I caught it in one leap and held it close to my heart crying. "no.........no....Sapphire." 

     Pearl stood there smiling. Her spear unmoved from its stabbing position. She turned to leave, but i wasn't ready to let her go. Not after what she had done. I ran and grabbed her arm before she could leave. " FIX HER!!!!!!"

     " I....can't.." she said sniffling, tears falling down her face. I knew Sapphire wouldn't come back for a while but I was paranoid at what she had done. 

     "FIX HER NOW!!!!!!!" My voice cracked with anger, I knew there was nothing she or I could do but wait.

     " If I could undo my mistake I would......but I can't. " Pearl said once again. She started to cry more. "I'm sorry.....Sapphire."

     I listened to every word Pearl said, but I didn't believe any of it. If she was that sorry why in the hell did she make Sapphire cry in the first place. Why did she try to stab me. Then I thought to myself : why did Sapphire save me anyway, I was the one that started this fight. I soon realized how long i would have to wait for Sapphire to come back and it made me angrier. Then I remembered how happy Sapphire was to throw this party for Steven. How long she took planning for it. How organized she was with it. All I did was mess it up,but so did Pearl. All of a sudden my mind went through a series of flashbacks up me and Sapphire making the cake to where she was so happy. Her beautiful smiling face. Sorry wasn't enough. I carefully put Sapphire's gem in my pocket resummoning my gauntlets in the process. Pearl looked at me with a surprised look. 

     " YOUR GONNA PAY, PEARL!!!!!!!" I charged throwing punches every which way. 

     For awhile we went back and forth ; her dodging my punches almost every time.  I knocked her down and she crawled away. Each time she tried to get back up I kicked her down stepping on her back in the process. She summoned her spear but that didn't do her any good. I knocked the spear out of her hand and watched as it slid across the waterfall and dropped. She turned to me still on the floor and put her hands up to protect herself just as i was going to make her retreat into her gem. 

     "NO!!!!! making you retreat into your gem wouldn't be suffering...you wouldn't feel pain there! I'm gonna beat you and leave you to suffer!!!!" I raised my gauntlets and aimed for her face right below her gem. 

     " WAIT!!!" she yelled. " I truly am sorry.....I just wanted you to become Garnet. I was jealous of you loving Sapphire so much that.....I wanted to be a part of that love too. \

     I looked at the long drop behind her and smiled. " I know..." I said back to her calmly before delivering the final blow. 

( In Sapphire and Ruby's room) 

    " S-S-Sapphire,..... I'm s-sorry. " I cried, placing her gem on her pillow. 

     I cried so hard that when I talked I barely made sense. I had knocked Pearl out and left her to drown in her own water. Amethyst would find her. It had been weeks ( I lost track of how many) since the accident. Only a few more minutes.  I would tell myself endlessly to instill some faint hope. She'll come back soon.
