"It's a girl! Are you serious?" I was beyond happy at this moment. I wanted a girl this whole time and now I'm finally having one.

"Yes baby.." Nubia kissed my cheek. "Congratulations beautiful."

Tears brimmed my eyes. Maverick was enjoying his breakfast to much to pay attention.

"Mavey?" I called. "You're having a niece.."

He jumped from his chair and run over to me. "Weally?!" He squealed. "Yes really.." I laughed.

He did this little funky dance and God knows what it was. Me and Nubia laughed up a storm just watching him. He finally got tired and sat down to finish his breakfast.

"Now that's out the way me and Macey have the rest of the day planned out for you. Now eat up so we can get ready to go." She smiled.

I'm really blessed right now. Thank you God. Nubia is treating me better than anyone I've ever had in my life and it's only been about 3 months now. It's crazy.

We finished eating. I seen I had more gifts and I lowkey wanted to open them. I couldn't stand them just sitting there. "Umm.."

"Hmm?" Nubia looked at me.

"Uhh- those gifts.."

"Yea what about?" She asked. I wanted to straight face her. The hell you mean what about? I want to open them.

"Can I open them?" I asked.

"No... you can open them later after we come home."

I pouted. I really want to see what's in them. 

"Oooh- let's go your appointment is sneaking up on us."

"What app-"

"Baby... let's go and you'll find out. I don't want to ruin any surprises."

I threw my hands up and she helped me get up.

She cleaned up then joined me and Maverick in the car.

"You ready?" I nodded giving her a smile.

"Ready.."

8:04 pm

"You had fun today?"

I was exhausted but today was one the best birthdays ever. "Are you kidding me? Today was freaking amazing..."

After we had left the house she took us to a massage place, then we all went to ITZ... at ITZ we watched movies, played games, bowled, went go kart racing, bumper cars... it was so much in one place.  Then we all went indoor ice skating, then out to a lovely Italian restaurant.

I am beyond tired. Maverick is in the back seat sleeping. I was almost asleep, "How did you enjoy today my love?"

I smiled, "I loved it... you don't know how I feel right now. I've never had a whole day dedicated to myself... Where someone actually cared about my birthday besides Maverick..." I chuckled.

"He would wake me up on the day of my birthday and give me kisses, I would help him make breakfast and we would go to the park and play. Then he would drag me back home and we would spend the rest of the night just enjoying each other's presence." I looked back at him smiling...reminiscing.

"Macey..."

"Hmmm?"

"Will-" She paused.

"What?" I asked softly.

"N-Nothinng... Let's get home, my baby needs some rest."

"I sure do..." I yawned.

"Oh you thought I was talking about you?" She laughed.

I eyed her, "So who are you talking about?"

"My baby," She put her hand on my stomach and rubbed it. God it felt really good. This little girl has been moving a lot. Not much of kicking yet.. just moving.

"Ugh you don't care if I'm tired?" I pouted.

She laughed kissing me again, "Of course I do baby..."

We pulled up and Nubia got Maverick out taking him in the house. I got out the car and followed. I closed and locked the door taking off my shirt. I was beyond hot.

I sat in the couch and waited for Nubia to come back.

There was a knock at the door

Before I could get up and answer Nubia jetted down the stairs beating me to it.

Weird ass

"Come in, she's on the couch," I heard her say.

What the fuck? Who is she talking too? Only her friend knows of me and I don't even know why her friend would be over here asking or wanting to see me.

I got up and walked over to the door only to be met with a chest.

Bitch I dare not look up.

But I did...

It was a tall black dude.

His face looked so familiar but I couldn't remember where I seen him from.

I backed away looking at him. Her had a smirk plastered on his face.

"B-Baby what's going on?" I looked for Nubia. She emerged from behind him but she had smirk on her face.

I was so confused. "Nubia who is this?!"

"The answer to my problems..." She said softly. She patted his back then walked over to me.

"What?" I asked. You could hear the hurt in my voice.

"Macey Bowen..."

She laughed.

"A fucking prostitute..." She said viscously.

My head snapped so fucking quick I almost broke it. How in the hell does she know I used to be a prostitute?

"H-Ho-"

"You ran away from home because of your mom and your step dad. I get it... What I didn't know was that you were a prostitute and you were raped by the person you worked for.. oh What's his name..." She thought, "Ricky?" She smirked.

His name again

"Nubia please... I should've told you but I don't know where you're going with this..."

"That baby you're carrying..." she looked down at my stomach.

I furrowed my eyebrows. Now I really don't know where she's getting at but if she's attempts something I'm going to fucking kill her.

"That baby will help me get my life back.."

She stepped closer making me back away quickly.

"N-Nubia you're talking so fucking crazy! Fuck do you mean MY baby will help you get your life back?!" I yelled at her.

She sighed, "Poor Macey... I didn't want to be apart of this but the more I thought about it the more I needed to do it."

I can't comprehend what I'm hearing. What is she talking about? Why would she do something to hurt me or my baby...

"Macey I wanted to be with you but you made me into a dependent fuck. I had money, a nice house, and a fiancé. My fiancé is a different story but this was my house and that was my money first..."

I have her a cold look. This is what that's for? Really?

"I-I thou-"

"Did you really think I was going to stay with you?" She cut me off, "Yea I admit I caught little feelings at first but after hearing what I never knew and what I could get out of doing what was offered?... I immediately wanted to make you feel like the only girl in the world."

Yea, I'm cold hearted ass bitch as of right now. I could careless how she feels.

You would wonder and of course she would too about how I know this and the guy I have standing in the room.

Remember my friend who babysitted Maverick? Her baby daddy? He's the one who told me about this and her. Turns out that nigga is Ricky's brother. He goes by Tee. I still couldn't believe all of what he told me.

I already knew him since I would see him when he would drop off Kiera's son. The day he moved back in with Kiera, I visited them. That's when he told me everything. Macey was home sleeping when I decided to go over their house so she had no idea.

Long story short he told me that Macey was raped by Ricky. Him and his family were all involved with Ricky's little drug cartel empire and the sex ring he was in control of. Nigga made a million every 6 months, for the last 8 years. With extra money on the side.

The deal was if I helped get Macey back down there until the baby is born I get five million. Tee said that before Ricky died he wanted his little rape baby to take over for him. Until then his brother is in control. I'm a teacher. It hurts me to basically give a baby away to be trained to be the leader of a large drug cartel and a prostitution ring but I want everything I had before Macey came into the picture.

"If it wasn't for me falling for you, you would have kicked me out and I wouldn't have shit. I do now that if something happened to you the house falls back into my name and the money in the will is all mine." I chuckled devilishly.

She started crying. I feel her but not for as much money I'm going to get. I'm sorry. I'm not as innocent as you think.

Another guy came into the house that worked with Tee. They were going to take Macey back.

They grabbed her and like anyone would do she fought and resisted. "Hey! Be a little careful the baby needs to be in perfect health." See... I still care a little.

"Nubia you bitch! I swear when I get free I'm coming to kill you!" She yelled. I laughed, "I thought you cared about me... about my baby... about Maverick.." Her eyes grew wide. "Maverick!" She yelled.

"Ate shut the fuck up!" I yelled at her. "Don't worry about Maverick. You see you were being a dumb broad and signed me to be his legal guardian." I grinned.

"W-What?! When?!" She looked very confused.

"When I signed him up for school and I brought you back papers? One of them you didn't bother to read and it was a court paper stating I am a legal guardian of him. You weren't 18 sweetie and in order for him to attend school he needs a legal guardian. With that being said since you're going to be gone... well abandoning him, I'll be keeping him. He's my new son." I smiled.

She cried even harder, "Why would you do this to me?" Her voice cracked. "W-Why Nubia?" She asked softly.

I shrugged my shoulders. I don't know but money is all that I want. I might even forgive my ex wife and start a new family. That bitch is a gold digger too. The both of us together is strangely odd but fuck it. 

I called up Casey.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Baby come home-" I know her poor little heart is broken. "-I did a little thinking and I don't think it'll be right to leave you by yourself to take care of a baby."

I put it on speaker phone.

"Wait? Are you serious?" She asked shocked.

"Yes baby... I love you and we should work on our relationship." Macey's body just went limp.

"You accept my apology?" She asked softly.

"Yes baby... Come back home." I bit my lip.

"Ok baby I'm coming.." She hung up.

"Bye Macey.." I kissed her cheek and they dragged her out of here. Poor Maverick. He's never been without his sister.

"Manubie?" I heard a fragile voice. Maverick was standing on the stair case.

"Where's Macey?"

"Macey..." I thought up a quick lie. God forgive me. "She left buddy..."

"Where she go?" He asked.

"She said she couldn't do it anymore.." I said.

"Do what?"

"Take care of you... she said she was tired of being stressed especially with having another baby. I'm sorry Maverick...."

His face saddened. "But it's ok. I'm your new mommy... and your going to have another new mommy and a sibling."
