The Sirelis call their language Rikaasi,  and their alphabet is a system of swirling and jagged runes.

Some words are a combination of other words, such as 'Kad'kip', which means 'Orange'. This word is a combination of the words 'Kaddi' and 'Kippek', the words for 'red' and 'yellow', respectively.

Some words might sound similar to Basic words. This is intentional. 'Giddah', the word for 'welcome' or 'hello', sounds vaguely similar to 'g'day'. 'Jeso', the word for 'yeah', or an informal 'yes', sounds similar to 'yeah, so'.
