Previously on Healing:

Aqualad walked over to the guy and checked for a pulse.  

NOW:

"He has one but it's VERY faint." Aqualad said.

"We need to get him to a hospital." Artemis said.

"No. This is a League matter. He needs to go to the Watch Tower, as does Robin." Aqualad said.

"What?" Robin asked.

"Robin I don't know what will happen if he dies. I do know however that the League needs you." Aqualad answered truthfully.

"Okay, let's save him." Robin nodded his head.

The Team picked the man up and loaded him into the Bio-ship.

Aqualad called the Watch Tower.

"We're coming up with a hurt person. I'll explain the details later. Please have the Medical Bay ready." Aqualad requested when Flash picked up.

A few minutes later, and a medical team was picking the guy up and rushing him to the Medical Bay.

"What happened?" Batman asked the group.

"We need to talk in private." Aqualad gave Batman a look.

Batman turned and led Aqualad into a private room.

"I'll ask again. What happened?" Batman asked Aqualad.

"The mission was going well until we arrived. Kid Flash shot out of the Bioship and immediately went in, without my approval. At which Artemis suggested a child leash. When we got in he was already fighting and we knocked the rest of the group out. Or so we thought. We all went over to the doctor who was hiding under a desk. One of the men however still had a gun and was going to take the shot. Robin was faster though. Robin shot the man we brought here." Aqualad explained.

Batman took a moment to process this before he nodded.

"What will happen to Robin, sir?" Aqualad asked.

"Robin will be sent to therapy and a course to try and calm these...incidents." Batman said.

"And if the man doesn't...make it?" Aqualad asked.

"Robin will be prosecuted for murder and put under League arrest." Batman said.

"What?" Aqualad was taken aback.

Yes, Aqualad thought Robin would not go unpunished, but being put into jail? 

"Isn't that a bit extreme?" Aqualad asked.

"Murder is murder." Batman simply put and then walked out.

"How is he?" Robin asked once Batman came out of the Medical Bay.

Batman pulled out a pair of handcuffs.

"Robin, put your hands behind your back." Batman said as he was getting closer.

Robin's eyes went WIDE.

"Hey wait a minute! Sure he hurt someone, but isn't this a bit extreme? He didn't mean to do it! It was reflex!" Artemis stood up for Robin.

Green Lantern, John Stewart, put the kids in a bubble. 

"HEY! NO!" the Team immediately started pounding on the bubble.

"Robin, don't make this any harder than it has to be." Batman said.

Robin's eyes were going from Batman to his Team then to the other Justice League members.

Robin bolted and started running out of the room.

"Robin!" Batman yelled and started chasing him.

"ROBIN B-01" the Zeta Tubes called out.

"Zeta Tubes now offline. Override B-01" the Tubes called out.  

Batman narrowed his eyes.

"Find him NOW!" Batman screamed.

"Why are you so worried? He's just another criminal to you isn't he?" Kid Flash screamed out.

"He's a special case." Batman said.

"You just said 'Murder is murder.' He's not special at all!" Aqualad growled.

"Yes he is. He's also especially dangerous. He can single-handed take down the Justice League. And we are not sure what exactly Slade did to him. Or how much is just muscle reflex. You saw first-handed what he did while panicked. Now, he's loose out there with people you care about; with innocent people. He at least needs to be brought back here." Batman said.

"So what? He can be thrown into a cell?" Kid Flash spat out.

"No, so he can be properly medicated. We'll deal with the jail issue later." Batman said.

"What?" Artemis was caught by surprise. 

"He has several mental issues that need to be taken care of." Batman said.

"Such as?" Aqualad asked.

"Depression, Panic Attacks, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, ans a suspected Stockholm Syndrome." Black Canary answered.  

"He needs to be medicated, it's affecting him. And I fear that with the suspected Stockholm Syndrome..." Black Canary trailed off.

"He'll go back to Slade." Artemis pieced together. 

"He wouldn't do that!" Kid Flash said.

"He's different now. After Slade...you saw. Black Canary has been giving him psychological tests. If she says something is wrong with him, something's wrong." Artemis said.

 "We need to find him." Kid Flash said.

"Will you help or not?" Batman asked.

Aqualad looked at his team and then nodded, "We'll help. But only to help Robin." 

How's that? I know it's a bit short. Sorry about that, but it IS the first chapter.
