Lisa sighed as her dad turned off the car. She stared at the dull dreary appartment building her dad had Just bought and renovated. She remembered her dad telling her that it would do her some good to get out of that house, after what had happened to her mother.

"Well we're here" Her father 45 year old Travis Phelps said. He had recently been invited to be the pastor at the church his dad used to preach at. That's what cause the move to take them to Nockfell.

"Caw wide ovew?" Lisa's 4 year old sister asked.

"Yeah Mols the car ride is over" Lisa said looking back at her little sister.

"Are you ok?" Travis asked placing his hand on his eldest daughter's shoulder.

"Yeah something just feels... off" Lisa said stareing at the building.

Lisa unbuckled and got out of the vehicle to go grab her stuff from the back, when she noticed someone with long brown hair staring at her from the treehouse window in the back of the appartments. She blinked and looked again but they were gone. She shook her head and grabbed her suitcase and backpack from the car and helped her sister grab her pink backpack and suitcase.

"The door should be unlocked! We will be living in room 402" Travis yelled tossing Lisa the keys to the appartment as he talked to someone on the phone.

Lisa took her sister into the building and the two for in the elevator.

"Do you wanna press the button Mols?" Lisa asked.

"Yesh pwease" Molly said smiling.

"Press the button that says 4 ok?" Lisa instructed as her sister pressed the button. The elevator shook and freaked as the doors closed and it jerked as it started up.

"Scawy" Molly said hugging her stuffed wolf.

"Its ok Molly I'll protect you from the evil elevator" Lisa said smiling at her sister as they reached the 4th floor. "Come on our home is right here".

Lisa lead her sister to the door and unlocked it opening the appartment. She walked in and helped her sister put her things in her room while she put up her items. Lisa walked into her room and looked around. It was a bland white color. Lisa opened her closet and yelped as an old black turtleneck sweater fell from the top shelf.

"Get it together Lisa" the girl chuckled as she picked up the sweater inspecting it. She assumed it had to be about 25 years old. She pulled a long blue strand of hair off the sweater

"Weird I thought that cleaned this place out" Lisa jumped as she heard her dad speak.

"Dad! You scared me" Lisa said wide eyed.

"Sorry... hmm that looks like one of the sweater one of my old classmates use to wear. It would make sense this was his appartment." Travis said a look of remembrance and remorse in his eyes.

"What happened to him?" Lisa asked.

"He died" Travis said. "He was executed for killing 13 people"

"Oh..." Lisa said looking at the sweater in her hands. "Why'd he do it?"

"No-one knows he kept saying something about demons and ghosts and something about a cult but they were never proved. Then one of his friends claimed to have found evidence but she was to late. She was forced to watch her friend get electrocuted" The man said looking at his daughter. "But never mind that they put a bunch of old stuff in the basement is you wanna go take a look"

"Sure" Lisa said placing the sweater back where it was and taking the key card from her father's hand.

The girl exited the appartment and got on the elevator putting the key card in the slot. She looked over when she heard a whisper and froze when she saw a figure seemingly made out of black most with peircing red eyes reach its hand out and grab her shoulder. She yelped as she fell backwords when the door opened revealing the basement. Lisa stood and looked back only to find the creature gone. She shook her head bewildered as she looked down the corridor at the door of the room her dad have her a key to.

"Here goes nothing" Lisa said as she put the key in the lock and turned it opening the door and revealing another appartment.
