3: Regret
The day Sara got back from the hospital, she had a cast on her arm. She had instantly went to see if Christopher was okay, but he wouldn't talk to her. He had bruises, and wouldn't look at her. She questioned, pestered, trying to see why her big brother wouldn't talk to her. Soon, he turned on her, snapping.
"It's YOU'RE fault! If I wouldn't of stood up for you, this wouldn't of happened! I stand up for you, we BOTH get hurt. Deal with it on your fucking own." He had said, pushing her as he walked out.
That's the day the emptiness overtook her, the day she hid, feeling like she should cry, feel sad, but couldn't. She regretted trusting him. She shut Louis out for days, not wanting to be hurt again. She felt numb, didn't care about anything. Louis was scared, but she payed no mind. Her parents hit her, trying to get her to talk, but she wouldn't. It was as if she wasn't there.
She didn't care.
The seven year old was broke, and it was her older brothers fault.
