Jack's POV
I fluttered my eyes open. I couldn't really see anything. It was too bright. I could hear beeping and talking, but I couldn't tell who it was.
"Can you hear me?" I heard someone ask.
I wanted to say yes, but I couldn't. All I could do was lay there and say nothing.
"Sir, can you hear me?"
I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. So I just nodded. Then he asked,
"Can you see me?"
I looked around. It was kind of blurry. I couldn't really see anyone or anything. I shook my head.
"Can you move anything else besides your head?"
I tried moving my hand, my legs and my feet, but I couldn't. Once again, I shook my head no.
"Alright sir, I'm gonna ask you to try to speak again. Can you say hello to me?"
"H...hello." My voice was raspy.
I heard him walk out.
"Alright, you can come in now." I heard the man say.
"Hey Jack." I heard a deep voice say.
I smiled as I realized that the deep voice was Mark.
"Hi Mark."

Hey guys! Its Lexi! Sorry for the long wait. I got my phone taken and I didn't like typing stories on my tablet. But I got my phone back and I should be able to hopefully update this book more often!
