************PART 1************
Okay, so Part 1 is about my OC Grace and her background/journey to/time spent at camp half blood, but if you don't want to read it (although it gives background, so I highly suggest you read it and it's awesome too) but if you really want to skip, go to Could Frame Thy Perfect Symmetry or My Immortal Parents Could! and continue from there, because that's where you start to meet all of the characters. Anyways, lets get on with the story!
************************************
Grace walked along a path. She heard the sounds of kids playing volleyball down at the beach, the waves lapping at the shore, and the wind rustling through the trees. She closed her eyes and breathed in the sweet scent of strawberries and the ocean. That's strange, Grace thought. Strawberries in the ocean? Grace opened her eyes and looked around. On her right side was a vast, sparkling lake. On her left was a strawberry field, bursting with ripe red strawberries. Grace laughed and ran to the strawberry field.
As Grace walked between the rows of juicy strawberries, occasionally popping one in her mouth, she began to sense something was wrong. The kids had stopped playing volleyball, and the wind had stopped gently stirring the lake and the trees. It was completely still. Dark storm clouds gathered overhead, blotting out the sun.
Grace dropped the strawberries she had collected and began to run out of the field. Grace was almost to safety when a sickly sweet scent drifted into her nose. Grace stopped running. She felt like she had been paralyzed by the scent she knew all too well. She frantically shook off her temporary paralysis and started running with renewed effort. I have to get out of here! Was the only thought running through her mind.
As Grace turned her back on the strange place, something hit her from behind, sending her tumbling to the ground. Something large and hairy, with eight legs pressed down on her back. Face in the dust, Grace struggled to breathe. She started panicking as her worst fear pressed her harder into the ground. "You should have never been born..." The Mother Spider Arachne hissed into Grace's ear.
