"Come on Liz!" My roommate, and friend, Sky said as I continued type on the computer, "I can set you up with someone, and you can come on a double date with me and Mark!"

"Hard pass." I replied, "I'm not going on date with someone I don't know. That's how girls get kidnapped and raped."

"Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine today." Sky said.

I swiveled my comfy computer chair to face her. She had folded her arms, and giving me a look that told me I was being ridiculous.

"Ok ok, I'm sure Mark's a nice guy, and I know you probably wouldn't set me up with anyone you didn't know well, but come on Sky! You've known me long enough to know I'm not a people person!" I said, playing with loose strands of my brown braid that was draped over my shoulder.

"*Sigh* I know Lizzie. I just thought you might want to get out, meet a guy, have some fun for once." She sighed.

"I'm having the time of my life right here, at my computer." I replied.

"We're twenty, Lizzie, you can't live at your computer your whole life. You need to make friends." She said.

"I have friends." I replied, swiveling back to face my computer screen.

"Internet friends don't count, and apart from me, you don't have any friends in real life." Sky said.

"Ouch, that one hurt." I said, "I'll be fine. I'm planning on a Netflix and Chill kind of night. Go have fun with this Mark guy."

She smiled, pulling on her coat.

"Just let him know if he tries anything immoral I will rain fiery death and destruction down upon him!" I called as she was leaving the apartment.

"Don't worry Liz." She laughed, before closing the door.

I sighed. She's right, I need to make some real life friends. I went to change into PJ's(sweatpants, and an oversized T-shirt), and in no time I was crashed on the couch with popcorn and re-watching Stranger Things. After several episodes, it was getting late, but I was determined to finish at least one more episode. I clicked play, just before a weird dizziness washed over me, and I passed out.
