I nodded, feeling a little sick, then went back into the living room. The TV was still on, and it looked like the coroner results had come back.
"According to the coroners results, the victim was indeed mauled by a large animal, possibly a wolf. The victim also had lost a large amount of blood, larger than he could have lost from bleeding out. They have yet to explain this strange phenomenon.."
I shut the TV off, and just sat on the couch for a while. I had someone named Scar in my head, who killed people and drank their blood. I looked towards the room. Sky wasn't safe, no one was, when I didn't know what was going on. I snuck past a sleeping Sky, then pulled some cash out from under my bed. Enough to pay my part for the apartment this month. I wasn't going to let Sky pay it all by herself. Then I went to the kitchen, and wrote a note to Sky.
Sky
I'm sorry I can't explain right now. I think I'm going crazy. It's not safe for me to be around you, or really anyone. I'm going to try and find help.
Lizzie
P.S. Here's my share of the mortgage this month. The rest of my money is under the bed.
I sighed, put on my shoes, and left the building. I had an idea of where to go, but I wasn't too keen on going there. I pulled my hood up, then started walking.
You know that one person that lives near you, who you hear weird rumors about? The person who supposedly has communed with spirits and has made deals with devils? Kaden Maxwell is that person. I'd heard so many rumors about him and the supernatural I was hoping he could help me. You know things are seriously wrong when the introverted author girl starts being social, and talking to complete strangers. I hadn't even met the dude, I didn't know who he was, what he looked like, nothing! I was throwing my own advice down the toilet. Don't meet with strange guys you've never met before!
I sighed, outside the apartment that he supposedly lived in.
"Ok Lizzie, its simple, easy. Just knock on the door, ask if he's Kaden Maxwell, then ask for help. Three simple steps. Just knock on the door. Just... raise your fist, and tap on the door." I said.
I took a deep breath, then went to knock on the door. One problem, the door opened before I could touch it, and a man now stood in the doorway.
"Holy-!" I cried, falling back, which seemed like it was becoming a normal thing for me.
