So this is my first time writing a scene like this one, and I'm not sure how well it came out. So let me know what you think in the comments, since i'm considering rewriting it later :3

"Did you miss me?" I asked after pinning Jake to the floor and wrapping him up in my arms. His eyes widened in surprise and he actually started blushing. His hands tried pushing up against my chest, but it only made me hold tighter.

"You're dirty, go take a shower?"

He had a point. I was still covered in dry mud. "Fine...but I want you to take it with me." I rose to my feet and pulled him up with me.

He rolled his eyes and started heading to his bathroom with a bored expression on his face, but I knew better. Whenever we were in the same room, Jake was an open book to me. His thoughts, daydreams, and even his emotions flowed around him like waves that only I could see.

I started laughing as I followed him into the black-tiled bathroom. "Does seeing me naked still make you that excited, Jake?" I asked as the water started streaming from the showerhead. It probably would have sounded like a cocky question to anyone else, but I really wanted to know. I could feel the excitement and nervousness buzzing in his stomach when he looked at me. Even after being together for months now.

"I'm just excited that you won't be tracking mud in my room anymore," he lied.

He made a move to take off his shirt, but I stopped him.

"Don't move,"

I took hold of his shirt and started undressing him slowly. Once there was nothing left in between my body and his, I pulled him in close again. I could feel his heartbeat hammering in his chest before I kissed him. My mind began to fog up with heat when the taste of his lips and curves of his body filled my senses.

The slight scent of fear drifting off his tanned skin mixed with the water as I pulled us into the shower. The cool water stung sharply against my burning skin, but it wasn't enough to make me stop.

Part of me always wanted to just tear into Jake like an animal because I knew he could take it at this point. The rest of me wanted to savor every moment of the freezing hot peace.

Then he surprised me. He broke the kiss for a moment and buried his face in the side of my neck. I could feel his lips pressing down softly against my skin and knew what he wanted. It was his way of asking for me to surrender to him. "Jake..." I wanted to protest, but suddenly my own exhaustion caught up with me. I was feeling week and my muscles were all so sore from the transformations.

"Just shut up, Wolfe. Let me try to really take care of you this time," he whispered into my ear and I thought for a second that my brain would melt. It wasn't easy for an Alpha to surrender to anyone, not even a mate. But right at that moment, I couldn't think of anything that could feel better than letting him take over.

So I did.

At some point during the night, we managed to end up back in his bedroom and I just relaxed. I relaxed and let Jake handle everything else.
