Skye shot two Hydra agents to her left. Then she turned around and flipped in the air, putting her hands out and making six agents fly back and hit the wall. Ward took out five on the other side of the room. But then thirty more agents rushed into the room. Skye and Ward both sighed. Where do they keep coming from?! They went to Skye first and surrounded her. Ward was busy with some other guards and couldn't help. Skye tried to take them all on but the gloves flew onto her hands, blocking her powers from coming through. They eventually threw her to the floor.  Ward kicked one guy in the head before rushing over to assist Skye. He attacked some of the guards, trying to get them off Skye. She saw a knife peeking out of one of the Hydra agent's socks and grabbed it. She sliced the legs of five Hydra agents, making blood come running down there legs. They started screaming and tried to fight back, but by then Skye had taken her chance and leaped up next to Ward. They took out the last of the agents. Skye sighed as Ward unlocked her gloves with a key he got from a guard's pocket. Then she looked down at something around her wrist.
"We've got fifteen seconds before this place blows," she told Ward.
"Come on," Ward ordered and took her by the hand.
He rushed them over to a window and pushed it open. They both looked down.
"That's a long drop," Skye said.
"It's our only choice," Ward replied.
Then they heard beeping on Skye's watch. Five, four, three.....
Ward grabbed Skye by the waist and pulled her up against his side. Then he leaped out the window, just as the building exploded.
"WARD!" Skye yelled.
They fell through the air, wind rushing by them.
"HOLD ON TO ME!" Ward yelled.
Skye saw the hard ground below them. She closed her eyes, bracing herself. Then all of a sudden, she felt her body slam against Ward's and Ward fall onto something bouncy. She opened her eyes to see that she was on top of Ward and that they had landed on a trampoline. They were both breathing hard.
"That was close, you two," a voice said.
Skye and Ward both looked to see Coulson standing beside the trampoline, with his sunglasses on. Then he pressed a button in his hand and made the trampoline shrink, making Skye and Ward fall on the ground. They both groaned. Skye slowly got off Ward as they helped each other up. They looked around to see they were in an alley of a city.
"Did you get what we need?" Coulson asked.
Skye nodded and pulled a box out of her jacket. Coulson took it and put it in his suit.

"Coulson was right that was close," Skye said as her and Ward sat in their bed.
Then she scooted in closer and stretched one arm out across his chest. She gently rested her head on him.
"Did you know that Coulson was gonna be there?" She asked and looked up at Ward.
Ward didn't meet her eyes.
"Did you?!" Skye asked with a playful smile.
"He told me that he was gonna be there for back up so I knew it was safe to jump out of the building," Ward answered finally. "And plus, we didn't really have any other choice."
"Well," Skye said and looked up at him. "It was pretty heroic when you grabbed me and jumped out of the building."
Ward grinned and looked down at his wife affectionately. He put a hand on her cheek. They stared at each other for a moment, as if under a spell.
"Hey we have some free time," Skye said. "Want to look at some......" She didn't say the word in case people were ease dropping on them, which they usually were.
"Sure," Ward replied and grabbed Skye's laptop.
He pulled up nice, family houses and began looking at them with Skye.

"Who were those agents?!" A Hydra leader asked from his Hydra lair. "And how did they explode that base?!"
"I'm getting information on them now," an agent said as he typed away at his computer.
"They are Shield agents. The man's first name is Grant. Last name, Ward. And the woman's first name is Skye. Last name, Johnson. Wait! Hang on, I'm getting something. No. Her first name is Skye and her last name is Ward."
The Hydra leader whipped around, his black cape flowing behind him.
"They're married! You know what that means?!" He asked. "We found a weakness! Get one of them, and the other one will do anything to get their "loved one", free."
He looked at the computer to see that Skye's last name was in fact Ward.
"This is wonderful," he said with an evil smile spreading across his face.

"Beep beep!" Something beeped on Skye's laptop.
"What is that?!" Ward asked as Skye and him looked at houses.
Skye took her laptop from him and opened a window. She typed in a password and gasped.
"What?" Ward asked frantically.
"Our identity!" Skye exclaimed. "Someone exposed it!" She turned to Ward. "Hydra knows we are married now."

Skye and Ward rushed to Coulson's office with the laptop.
"WHAT?!" Coulson exclaimed, when he heard what happened. He peered at the laptop. "How did this happen?!"
"I don't know!" Skye replied. "Who would have exposed us?! Only our team knows!"
"MAY!" Ward yelled.
Skye and Coulson both looked at him.
"She just found out about our marriage! She was upset about it! She turned us in!" Ward yelled, infuriated.
"I heard my name," May said as she walked into Coulson's office.
Ward lunged towards her but Skye held him back.
"YOU EXPOSED US!" He yelled.
May didn't say anything and kept a straight face.
"May," Coulson said. "Did you do this?"
May didn't say anything. Coulson sighed and told Skye and Ward to leave.
"But sir she just!-" Ward started.
"Go!" Coulson ordered.
They both sighed and walked out of his office. They stormed back to their bedroom and got in bed.
Thirty minutes later Skye and Ward were getting no sleep. Ward kept tossing and turning in anger and Skye just laid there, feeling Ward toss back and forth beside her. She thought she was frozen to the bone.
"UGH!" Ward exclaimed at last and sat up in bed. "WHY DID MAY HAVE TO EXPOSE US?! OUR IDENTITY IS OUT THERE! HYDRA KNOWS!"
"Ward-"
"ITS A WEAKNESS SKYE!" Ward yelled and turned towards her. "THEY FOUND A WEAKNESS!"
"THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT RIGHT NOW IS NOT FREEZING TO DEATH!" Skye yelled and shivered.
Ward realized she had been shivering this whole time and he was too distracted to notice. Ward sighed and laid back down next to her. He wrapped his arms around her and gently started heating her up with his powers.
"Skye I'm sorry, you know how I feel about weaknesses and I just got distracted-"
"It's okay," Skye sighed. "It's not your fault the stupid heater is broken. But how are we gonna do this?!" She yelled. "We can't raise kids in this base! The darn heater doesn't even work!"
"Okay I guess we are talking about having a family again," Ward replied. "Not to mention our whole identity just got exposed."
"Yeah!" Skye exclaimed. "How are we supposed to raise a family when we constantly have to be looking behind our backs! Our kids will never be safe!"
"I don't know," Ward replied. "But I think we should just get some rest. That's what we need most right now. Especially if Hydra is gonna be on our tails."

The next morning Coulson called Skye and Ward into his office.
"Did May expose us?!" Ward asked angrily.
Coulson sighed. "She did."
"WHAT?!" Skye exclaimed.
"I KNEW IT!" Ward yelled.
"She needs to be punished!" Skye yelled.
"So since your identity is out there," Coulson said, ignoring them. "You two will have to go undercover for a long time."
"For a long time?!" Skye exclaimed.
"What are you gonna do about May?!" Ward demanded to know.
"I will decide about May! I'm the director!" Coulson yelled.
There was a silence.
"We're gonna have to go away?" Skye asked quietly.
"Yup," Coulson replied. He pulled up a tablet and showed them a house. "You're going to live here. You'll have to leave Shield and go be in a normal house like a normal couple."
"It's what you've always wanted," Coulson added under his breath.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Skye exclaimed.
"I heard you two!" Coulson yelled, admitting what he'd heard. "I heard you two talking about the house! And raising the family! And leaving Shield!"
"Coulson," Skye sighed. "We were gonna tell you first-"
"AFTER ALL IVE DONE FOR YOU!" Coulson yelled.
"WELL YOU CANT EXPECT US TO LIVE HERE FOREVER!" Ward yelled, stepping in. He shifted slightly in front of Skye as if to say "you yell at her I'll yell at you".
Skye's eyes swelled up with tears as she looked at Coulson. "Coulson please don't send us away-"
"I don't have a choice," Coulson sighed and looked down. "You're not safe here anymore. Hydra is gonna hunt you down. And that's putting everyone in this Shield base in danger." He finally met Skye's eyes. "You have to leave."
Skye's lip slightly quivered as she held her feelings in. She looked at Coulson one last time before storming out of his office. Ward watched her leave before turning back to Coulson. Ward placed his fists onto Coulson's desk and stared into Coulson's eyes.
"You know it's not our fault that our identity is revealed," he told Coulson harshly. "We aren't the ones who should be leaving, May should. She caused all this, not us."
Then Ward glared at Coulson one last time before leaving him to go comfort Skye. He walked down the hallway and knocked on their bedroom door.
"Skye?" He pushed the door open and looked into the dark room.
He found Skye on her knees on the floor. She was holding a box and putting stuff inside.
"I can't believe Coulson is sending us away," Skye said softly.
Ward quietly walked into the room and closed the door behind him. He could hear her voice was full of sadness.
"Are you okay?" Ward asked, already knowing the answer.
Skye's voice cracked as she answered him. "No, Ward I'm not! WHY DO WE HAVE TO LEAVE?!" Skye asked as she burst into tears. She started crying. Ward rushed over to her and knelt down behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and laid his head on hers.
"I don't know," Ward replied as he comforted his wife. "It's not right for Coulson to send us away. But all I know is that as long as I'm with you I'll be okay."
Skye turned around so she was facing him. She looked up at him before laying her head down in his shoulder and crying again. Ward put a hand on her head and stroked her soothingly.
"We're gonna be okay."
"I don't understand," Skye cried. "He's choosing May over us." Then she wiped the tears from her eyes and looked up at Ward. "I love you so much."
"I love you too," Ward replied.
He helped her pack their stuff before closing their door. The whole team rushed to them to say good bye. Bobbi, Simmons, Mack, and Hunter all gave Skye hugs. Coulson slowly walked over to Skye and looked at her. She looked back at him harshly.
"Be safe," He told her.
Skye nodded, holding back tears.
Coulson sighed. "Who are we kidding?"
He opens his arms as she fell into his warm hug.
"Take care of yourself Coulson," Skye sighed.
Then at last Skye turned away from her team, her family, her home. Ward wrapped his arm around her, trying to make her feel better.
"We hope to see you soon!" Simmons yelled as Skye and Ward got in the car and drove away to their new "home".

Skye and Ward drove up the driveway to their house. It was actually really pretty and nice. Ward pulled into their driveway and parked the car. Ward walked Skye up to the front of the house and unlocked the door. He walked in with Skye right behind him. The sun shown through the window and onto a beautiful staircase. The home was pretty, yet homey. It was warm and cozy, yet big and welcoming.
"Well," Ward said and turned to Skye. "I guess we'll be playing house."
