I wake up to the bright sun shining on to my face
"WAKE UP!" Said my mom yelling
"DONT SCREAM!" I said as I fell of my bed
"Oops sorry sweetie" she said with a low voice
"Get ready you don't want to be late"
"Yeah yeah" I groaned
As I got ready for school I realized I had a text message from an unknown number
It read "Hey! It's Nick from school."
"Nick?"
"How did he get my number" I asked myself
I left my house and got to the school bus.
I arrived at school and I was greeted by Nick.
"Hey shortie" he said with a smile
"Shortie? Don't call me that!" I said mad
"Why not? I mean you are short" he said laughing
"No I'm average heigh!" I said back
"Alrightttttt, shortie" he said giggling
I rolled my eyes and followed him into the school
I got to my locker an started putting my books away
"You tryna hang out later?" Asked Nick
"You want to hang out..with..me?" I said with a shock
"Nooo I want to hang out with your dog. Yes you!" He said
"Depends" I said smiling
"What about...the movies?" He asked
"What movie?"
"Which ever you want to watch"
I looked at him and he had a grin on his face
"Is he really that bad as Zoey described?" I thought to myself
"Fine." I laughed
"Yes!" He said excited
"But you have to buy me a bag of sour patch kids!" I said
"Alright alright fine" he rolled his eyes
I laughed
"He seems like a nice person, maybe he just doesn't like Zoey" I said to myself

The day past by pretty quick and it was time for me to meet Nick.
"I'm here." He texted
I walked downstairs and out the door
I saw him in his car waiting and smiling at me
"Creepy" I said
I walked towards his car and got in

"Hey" he said smiling
"Hey" I said smiling back
"You ready to go?" He asked
"Mhm"

We got the movies got tickets and grabbed our food.
We entered the movie room and sat down all the way at the top
The movie started shortly after
"This is..nice" I whispered
"Yeah it sure is" he whispered back

I jumped...
I looked down and I saw Nicks hand on my thigh
I blushed and moved my leg slowly to the left
His hand wouldn't move so I stayed there
I looked at him and he looked like he tried not to laugh
The movie ended and we headed back to the car
"Did you enjoy the movie" Nick said
"Yeah, aside from your hand" I said
"Oh yeah sorry about that" he said nervously
"It's fine" I laughed

He dropped me off at my house and we waved goodbye.
"See you tomorrow at school?"
" see you tomorrow at school for sure." I said smiling as he drove away
I looked down while blushing  of excitement.
"He's not that bad...right?" I said to myself.
I got inside and i brushed my teeth and put my pjs on
I decided to call Zoey and tell her about it
She didn't seem too excited about it but she said she was happy for me.
As we ended the call I hear a loud thud on my window
"What was that"
Another thud came after
And another after another
I got scared and looked out the window
It was...
"Nick?!" I said surprised
"Hey! Can you let me in, it's pretty cold out here"
"Oh yeah sorry"
As I let him in he looked at me and giggled
"Why are you here?" I asked
"I live across the street and decided to come over and say hi"
"Oh" I said
"Nice room btw" he said looking around
"Thanks, my mom helped me design it"
"It's nice" he said
"So do you want anything? Like water?"I asked politely
"No no I'm fine, thanks tho." He said with a low voice
"Since you're here...want to watch a movie?"
"Another one?" He laughed
"Yeah another one" I said looking down and laughing
"Yeah, but this time i choose it!" He said
"Fine" i giggled
As he chose the movie I sat down on the bed and grabbed blankets and snacks
He got on the bed next to me and the movie started.
He looked at me.
I looked back.
"You're a good friend you know that?
He didn't answer back
"You're a good friend too." He said with a disappointed voice
The movie finished and he packed his stuff
"Thanks for letting me stay here for a while"
"Yeah no problem"
He walked to the window and opened it
I stopped him and said
"Hey wait"
He looked back at me with a face of confusion
I walk up to him and hug him
"Thanks for today...you know for the movies...and right now."
He smiled
"I had a lot of fun with you" Nick said
"Alright I'll see you at school tomorrow"
"Bye"
"Bye!"
As I watched him get on his bike and ride away I closed the window and smiled
"I can totally get used to him being around."
