Annabeth had been noticing things.

First they were only small.

Like him turning up for dinner late.

Then they got bigger.

Him not being around for the day.

Him waking up at night tired like he'd been somewhere.

Annabeth had a growing feeling of dread.

Was Percy cheating on her?

She was going to find out.

Annabeth's POV

Is Percy cheating on me?
That thought went through my head.                                                                                                                 All I could think about was that.   
I couldn't sleep at night because I'm worried of what he's doing.
Is he kissing another girl while I'm in bed?
Or doing something more?
Maybe he wasn't. 
But he had to be doing something.
These days he was silent. Like he was talking to someone else in his head.
Was Percy going mad?
Was it Tartarus? If it was, it was my fault.
I pulled him down to hell.
I decided one thing.
I was going to find out.
