Kanaya's Pov
I wake up the next morning in the guest room and get up and do my hygiene stuff,getting ready for the day. I find me an outfit and put it on.

I grab my phone and walk out the guestroom and see Dean in the hallway. He says. "So,how long you gone be mad at bro?" I look at him and say. "I don't know." As I attempt to walk downstairs Kyle grabs my arm. "Baby i was only trying to help." I look at him and think for a second,before saying anything. My phone dings and I see it's a text from Mo and my Mom.

Kyle looks at me and says. "You should talk to her." I decide to text Mo back.
Me: yeah ig we can talk just meet me at the bakery In an hour.
Mo🤦🏽‍♀️😒: I'll see you in an hour
I put my phone in my purse and look at Kyle. "I'm talking to her in an hour." Dean says. "Good cause y'all sisters mane." I look for a second. "yeah." I get out of his grip and walk back in the guestroom. I decide to set my alarm and take me a nap. My alarm goes off and I get up and freshen up a little. I walk out the guestroom and head downstairs. Dean looks at me. "Be nice and forgive her K." I say. "Alright Dean." I roll my eyes and walk outside,getting inside my car. I put on my seatbelt and drive to the bakery. I turn on the radio and keep driving. I arrive at the bakery and get out heading inside. I sit at my usual table and Aaron comes to the table. "I haven't seen you around in awhile." I say. "I've been busy." Mo walks through the door and Aaron gets up and walks off. She sits across from me and says. "Hi K." I look at her. "Hi." She says. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you,but I just didn't know how." I say. "I forgive you." She says excitedly. "Thank you,but our dad wants to meet you." I look at her in a funny way. "You must didn't tell him I'm not nice." She laughs. "I know you gone curse him out." I shake my head and some dude walks in and stands in front of our table. He says. "Mo who's this?" She gets annoyed. "Michael this Kanya." Michael says. "So you my other daughter." I stand up and say. "I don't have shit to say to you." I turn to Mo and say. "I gotta go,but I'll text you later." I walk outside and get in my car. I drive back to Kyle's house and sigh. I pull up in the driveway a few minutes later and get out,storming inside. Kyle says. "Come here bae why you mad?" I walk over to him. "I just met my dad." He looks at me. "He did something to you?" I calm him down. "Bae no just calm down." I wrap my arms around him and look up at him. "I'm fine." He pecks my lips and says. "You better be ." I push him out the way and walk off. I walk in the kitchen and see Dean sitting at the bar. I look at him. "What y'all cooking?" He says. "shit we waiting on you to cook." I roll my eyes."really." I sit my things on the countertop and put my hair in a ponytail. I walk over to the kitchen sink and wash my hands. Dean says. "What you cooking sis?" I say. "i don't know yet." I walk over to the refrigerator looking for something to cook as my phone starts ringing.

I wait until she hangs up and decide to text her instead.

I finish cooking a Little while later and fix my plate.

We all eat and Dean says. "Can I talk to you later about something k?" I finish eating and say. "Yeah." Everyone finishes their food and I start to clean the kitchen. I finish cleaning the kitchen and Dean says. "Can we talk about Mo?" I turn around and look at him. "What about Mo?" He says. "I think I'm feeling her." I say. "I knew it." He says. "I want to tell her tomorrow." I say. "Go for it.' I get a text from Mo and decide to text her back as i walk out the kitchen.

Kyle says. "Bae want to watch a movie?' I look up from my phone. "yea ig." He pulls me close to him. "What's wrong with you?" I shake my head nothing and he says. "What's with the attuide then?" I playfully roll my eyes. "Boy ain't nobody got a attuide." He lets me go and softly mugs my head. I turn around and puch him hard in the arm and run upstairs in the room,locking the door behind me. He bangs on the door and says. "Bae stop playing and open the door." I decide to make him wait a little and he keeps banging on the door. I finally decide to get up and open the door. "Next time you sleeping in the guestroom or on the couch." I pin my hair up and put my bonnet and get in the bed. He gets in the bed and pulls me in his arms and i close my eyes slowly drifting off to sleep.
Mo's Pov
I wake up the next morning and I see my mom standing in my room. I ask. "Mom you okay?" She says. "I just want you to have a relationship with your dad." I sigh dryly. "I've been good without him all these years." She turns around to me and says. "He's still your dad Mo." She walks out the room without saying another word and I think for a second. I decide to get up and do my morning routine,getting dressed for today. I decide to go and get my nails done,so I grab my phone and keys and walk out the room. I see Michael sitting on the couch as I make my way downstairs. I annoyingly roll my eyes and walk outside,getting in my car. A few hours later I arrive back home after getting my nails done and running a few errands for myself. I exhaustedly walk back in the house and my mom stops me. "Dustin upstairs waiting on you ." I walk upstairs in my room and say. "What you doing here?" He stands up and looks at me. "You talked to Kay Kay?" I say. "Not really." I sit on the bed. "She with Kyle." He starts pacing the room back and forth. "Where he live?" I shrug. "He moved out."He says before walking out the room. "You need to find out." I get undressed and get in my bed,laying down and going to sleep. I wake up the next morning and I get up and do my morning routine.
As I'm finishing getting dressed My mom and Michael both walk in my room. Michael says. "We going to see k,so I can talk to her." I look at him furiously and say with an attitude. "First off her name is Kanaya and secondly idk where she is." My mom says. "Mo don't talk to him like that and she might be at home." I mumble under my breathe as I walk in my closet and put on my jacket. We walk downstairs and outside to get in his truck. The car was awkwardly silent as I stare out the window.
We pull up at their house and I reluctantly get out. We walk up to the front porch and my mom knocks. Kanya's mom opens the door and lets us in. We all walk inside and Dustin comes walking downstairs. He says. "What y'all doing here?" Michael says. "We came here to talk to Kanaya." Dustin's mom says. "She's not here Michael and I don't know where she is." Dustin asks rudely. "Why you want her in your life now?" He turns to him. "She's my daughter and I want to get to know her." Kanaya's mom says. "She's not going to want to meet you." They sit and talk for awhile and I get on my phone trying to get in touch with K,but it's useless. I walk outside where Dustin is. I say. "I don't want him in my life I've been fine all these years without him." He shakes his head. "You know damn well Kay Kay ain't gone want to see that nigga." I sit next to him. "I tried to tell him." He says. "She probably curse him out and tell him off." I laugh and think what K might say to him.Dustin asks. "You got in touch with Kay Kay yet?" I shake my head. "She won't answer my phone calls." My mom and Michael walk out the house and I get up,heading to the truck and we all get inside as he drives off. My phone dings and I see I got a text from Kyle.
Kyle❤️: Mo we need to talk
Me: wassup Kyle
Kyle❤️: about you and K
Me: she don't want to talk to me
Kyle❤️: just come to my house tomorrow
Me: give me your address and I'll be there
Kyle❤️: 4566 Despard Street
Me: alright I'll come over tomorrow
Kyle❤️: ite
I start to think of some things I want to tell K when I see her. We pull up at the house and I jump out the truck,before he can even park good. I race to my car and drive to Kyle's house. I pull up in the driveway and sit in my car and contemplate for a few minutes. I finally work up enough courage and get out,walking to the front door. I knock and Kanya opens the door. She walks off and I follow behind her. "K I came to talk to you." She turns around to looks at me. "I don't want to talk to you Mo." Kyle says. "Baby talk to your sister." She glares at him and storm upstairs and Kyle follows behind her. Dean looks at me. "Just give her time." I say. "Tell Kyle I'll be back." I decide to leave and go back home. I slowly walk in the house and my mom says. "What happened?" I look at her and say. "Kanya hates me." I walk upstairs in my room and lay across the bed. As I think I decide to take me a nap,which turns into me sleeping until the next day. I wake up and text K
Me: K I know you still mad at me but can we talk
Me: call me
I put my phone on the charger and get up and walk in the bathroom. I do my hygiene stuff and get ready for the day.

I finish up and walks out the bathroom,checking my phone. I see K texted me back.
Sis🤞🏽💖: yeah ig we can talk just meet me at the bakery In an hour.
Me: I'll see you in an hour
I get excited for once and start dancing around. My mom walks in my room and looks at me. "Why you happy?" I turn to her and say. "Kanya finally wants to talk to me." I grab my things and walk downstairs,getting ready to go the bakery. I get in my car and drive off. I arrive at the bakery a few minutes and get out,walking inside. I spot Kanya talking to Aaron and I walk over to them. He gets up and walks off as I sit down. "Hi K." She looks at me."Hi." I say. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you,but I just didn't know how." Kanya says. "I forgive you." I say excitedly. "Thank you,but our dad wants to meet you." She looks at me kinda funny. "You must didn't tell him I'm not nice." I slightly laugh. "I know you gone curse him out." She shakes her head and Michael walks in and stands in front of our table. He says. "Mo who's this?" I get annoyed. "Michael this Kanya." Michael says. "So you my other daughter." She stands up and says. "I don't have shit to say to you." She turns to me and says. "I gotta go,but I'll text you later." She walks outside and I look at Michael. "Really you just had to follow me and ruin me and my sister's moment." He says. "I just want to be in you and her lives." I shake my head and get up and walk off. I get in my car and drive home. I pull up at the house and get out,going inside. My mom looks at me and says. "You alright?" I turn to look at her. "No me and K was making up,but he ruined it." I storm upstairs in my room and close the door. Someone knocks on my door and walks in. Micheal looks at me. "What's Kay number?" I look at him. "I can't give her number to you she's not ready to talk to you yet." He walks out the room and I get my phone and call k. She doesn't answer,so I hang up the phone and see I got a text from her.

My mom walks in the room and sits on my bed. "He's trying to be here for you and k now." I look at her. "It's a little too late for that,but I'll give him a chance when I'm ready." She gets up and walks out the room and I get a text from Dean.

I text K about Dean.

I lay down and turn on the tv to watch it for awhile until I fall asleep.
