Kanaya's Pov
I wake up the next morning and I slowly sit up and see Kyle still sleeping. I get up and walk in the bathroom and turn on the shower. I pin my hair up and take off his shirt and get in the shower. I let the water hit my face and I sigh thinking about what my brother said to me. I take a nice long hot shower and I step out a little while later. I wrap my towel around my body and I hear a slight knock on the door. I open the door and see Kyle standing in the doorway. I look at him and walk out the bathroom and back into his room. I dry off and put on my clothes. Kyle walks out the bathroom and looks at me. "Where you going?" I look at him. "Kyle I got to go back home." He says. "But I don't want you to." I say. "Boy I can't stay here forever." He walks closer to me and pulls me close to him. "But I want you to." I shake my head. "I'll be back later." I move out his grip and I grab my keys and walk out the room. I walk downstairs and outside to my car. I get in my car and drive home. I pull up at the house a few minutes later and get out and walk inside. I see Dustin and Chris sitting on the couch. I roll my eyes and walk upstairs in my room. I put my phone on the charger and I walk in my closet and change my clothes.

I walk out my room and I see Dustin standing in the hallway. "Kay Kay Where tf you been?" I ignore him and I walk downstairs. My mom looks at me. "Why you didn't tell nobody were you was yesterday?" I say. "I was with a friend." Dustin walks downstairs with my phone and says. "Who's Kyle?" I walk up to him and snatch my phone out his hand. "None of your business." I storm off and go back upstairs in my room. Someone knocks on the door and I ignore it. My door opens and my mom walks in the room. "Kanaya I know you mad,but you can't just disappear like that." I look at her. "Y'all been lying to me for years." She says. "I didn't know how to tell you." I shake my head. "You could've found a way you tell me everything else." She walks out the room and I get on my phone and text Kyle.

My stepdad walks in the room and says. "Kay Kay go and wash them damn dishes and you don't have a phone no more it's mines now." I look at him. "You got me all the way messed up." I get up and walk in the closet and pack me a few clothes in my bag. I walk out the closet and walk in the bathroom and grab my toothbrush and toothpaste and put it in my bag. Dustin walks in the room and looks at me. "Where you think you going Kay Kay?" I roll my eyes. "Dustin move." I push him out my way and grab my phone and keys and walk downstairs. I walk outside and get in my car and Mo starts calling me. I answer the phone as I drive off.

I hang up the phone and I drive to Kyle's house. I pull up at his house and grab my bag and phone and get out. I walk up to the front door and knock. Kyle comes to the door and I look at him. "What's up with you?" He says. "Let's go we not staying here." He grabs my hand and we walk back to my car. Kyle says. "Give me the keys." I hand him my keys and we get in the car and he drives off. I look at him. "What happened?" He says. "Me and my stepdad got into it." I say. "Why?" He glances over at me. "It's not important,but Who made my baby mad and I want to show you something." I look at him for a second. "Mo just told me she was my sister." He pulls up at a house and I look at him. "Who's house is this?" He turns and looks at me. "Mine."

I say. "When did you get it?" He gets out the car and says. "Last week,but come on." I get out the car and we walk inside and he shows me around. We walk in the kitchen and he says. "You gone be cooking in here." I look at him. "Not all the time."

we walk out the kitchen and go upstairs in the master bedroom.

He says. "Come on I got to go and get my car." We walk out the room and go downstairs.  We walk outside and get in the car and I say. "What made you decide to get your own place?" He drives to his Mom's house and says. "I just needed to get out on my own." I nod my head and we pull up at his moms house. I get out and get in the driver side and wait on Kyle.
He comes out and gets in his car and I backup and he drives off and I trail behind him. We pull up in the driveway 45 minutes later and He gets out and walks up to me. He opens my door for me. I get out and He grabs my bag and we walk inside the house. I walk upstairs and go in the master bedroom and get in the bed. I get under the cover and fall asleep shortly after.
Kyle's Pov
I sit up and grab my phone to check the time. I see Kanaya's not in the bed anymore and I hear the shower running. I get up and walk in the closet and find me something to wear. I lay my clothes across the bed and walk up to the bathroom door and knock lightly. K opens the door and looks at me see and walks out the bathroom. I turn on the shower and take off my clothes and step inside. I do my hygiene stuff and get out and wrap my towel around my waist and walk out the bathroom. I dry off and put on my clothes. I look at K. "Where you going?" She looks at me. "Kyle I got to go back home." I say. "But I don't want you to." She rolls her eyes and says. "Boy I can't stay here forever." I walk closer to her and pull her close to me. "But I want you to." She shakes her head. "I'll be back later." She moves out my grip and grabs her keys and walk out the room. I sit on the bed and my stepdad walks in the room. "Don't get use to yo lil girlfriend staying here." I look at him. "She coming back to stay with me." He says. "Ima kick her out." I get up in his face. "I dare you to touch her nigga." My mom walks in the room and says. "Not today." She drags my stepdad out the room and I get my phone and text K. I get up and grab my keys and walk downstairs and go outside. I sit in my car for a minute and I drive to the store. I get out and walk inside and get me a Coke. I walk to the front of the store and pay for my drink and walk outside and get in my car. I drive back home and pull up in the driveway and get out and walk inside. I sit on the couch and turn on the tv. Someone knocks on the door and I get up and open it. K looks at me.
"What's up with you?" I say. "Let's go we not staying here." I grab her hand and we walk back to her car. I look at her. "Give me the keys." She hands me the keys and we get in the car and I drive to my house. She says. "What happened?" I glance over at her. "Me and my stepdad got into it." She says. "Why?"  I say. "It's not important,but Who made my baby mad and I want to show you something." She says with an attitude. "Mo just told me she was my sister." I pull up at my house and she looks at me. "Who's house is this?" I turn and look at her. "Mine." She looks at me. "When did you get it?" I get out the car and say. "Last week,but come on." She gets out the car and we walk inside and I show her around. We walk in the kitchen and I say. "You gone be cooking in here." She looks at me . "Not all the time."
we walk out the kitchen and go upstairs in the master bedroom. I say. "Come on I got to go and get my car." We walk out the room and go downstairs.  We walk outside and get in the car and She says. "What made you decide to get your own place?" I drive to my Mom's house and say. "I just needed to get out on my own." She nods her head and we pull up at my mom's house. I get out and walk inside the house and my mom says. "Where you been?" I look at her. "I'm about to leave again." I grab my keys and walk outside and get in my car. I wait on k to backup and I drive off. K follows behind me as I drive back to the house. I pull up in the driveway 45 minutes later and k pulls up behind me. I get out and walk up to her and open her door for her. She gets out and I grab her bag and we walk inside the house. K walks upstairs and I sit her bag by the door and walk in the front room and sit on the couch and turn on the tv.
