The Next Morning...

"Great news everyone! Pops is throwing a party over at his apartment and he has invited all of us!" Snowball declared, throwing his paws up in the air for extra emphasis. The rabbit added, "We just need to know how many of us are going to attend." Chloe rolled her eyes with annoyance. However, she raised her paw since it was part of the plan. 

"I'm coming!" Mel barked happily, waving his paw in the air excitedly. Smiling, Buddy and Sweetpea showed that they were coming too. Norman joined them.

"Gidget and I are gonna go for a walk in the park," Max spoke, winking at Snowball. Turning to Duke, he continued, "Ya know Duke, you should join. It's been awhile since you last went to a party." Thinking over his options quietly for a few seconds, Duke nodded his head in understanding and raised his paw. Max grinned.

All eyes were now on Leonard and Ozone. They all guessed what the pair would say. But they all got the biggest shock of their lives when Leonard stated, "Sorry guys. Not going."
