Temptation
Everybody in the club was getting wild Robbie observed as he stood against the wall. He wanted to join in but his dancing skills needed an extreme upgrade.
Then Harry appeared in front of him. His shirt was open to his waist, his long hair falling past his shoulders. Harry grabbed Robbie and began kissing him. Robbie responded right away, savoring the moment. He held Harry close, his fingers tangled in Harry's curls.
Robbie opened his eyes and saw his Grandfather standing just a few feet away, with his usual glare of disgust. "Boys don't kiss other boys," he was saying, just like he did when Robbie was thirteen. "It's not normal."
For a moment Robbie paused.
"Come on, babe," Harry whispered in his ear. "You know you want this." His warm breath was sending shivers through Robbie. He resumed kissing.
"Robbie!" Grandfather demanded.
Looking over Harry's shoulder again, Robbie raised his hand and flipped off the old man. He smirked at the look of shock on his face.
Then Emma appeared suddenly. "Robbie? Baby wake up."
"What?"
"Are you okay?" Emma was saying over and over. "Baby wake up."
Robbie struggled to awaken from a deep sleep. He groaned and stretched while Emma leaned over him.
"Are you okay?" She asked, brushing his hair from his forehead. "You were moaning a lot in your sleep. I didn't know if something was wrong or maybe you were dreaming about me."
"Huh?" Robbie felt groggy and exhausted from yesterday's events. Then his dream came back. He and Harry at his nightclub, kissing each other. "Oh uh, I had a bad dream I guess."
Emma pouted. "Aw that's too bad. I was really hoping it was about me." She leaned closer, caressing his chest. "You've been working way too hard so I talked to the old man and he agreed that you should take the day off. Recharge yourself and be with me."
Robbie looked up at her. "Seriously? He actually let me have the day off?"
"It wasn't easy convincing him."
"I bet it wasn't."
"Robbie, we need this. We don't spend time together anymore. You're always working and running around." Emma lay her head on him. "We don't even make love anymore."
"Thank the old man for that." Robbie said. "He believes that you can rest when you're dead."
"We can't have that," Emma said. "We need our time. We can't start our marriage with you at the office and me in the kitchen. I told him we need to spend quality time with each other. At this rate we won't even have children."
She was so right, Robbie thought. After several rounds with both Harry and Emma he was too wiped out to even think about sex. He noticed Emma was wearing a sheer nightie and prayed that she wouldn't make him do anything physical.
"Why don't we go to the club?" Emma suggested. "We can have a nice brunch there. Maybe we can sit by the pool if the weather is good. And this evening we can go have dinner at that new Italian place. I hear they make the best linguini. What do you think?"
Robbie nodded. "Sounds like a plan." It had been a while since he was by the pool. A nice relaxing day, just the two of them. He hoped it wouldn't be crowded.
"Great." Emma leaned over and gave him a kiss. Robbie returned it, trying to feel something. He must still be tired.
Like Robbie had hoped, there weren't a lot of people at the club. They enjoyed a nice quiet meal together without any distractions. Emma was right he thought. It had been a while since they had any quality time together, to just sit back and enjoy each other's company. This must be what they needed. That must be why he was tempted to stray, he thought. Maybe he was burned out and needed a breather from their crazy schedules.
"Emma! Hi!"
The couple looked up and saw Kendall walking towards them. To Robbie's surprise Harry was with her.
"Kendall, hi!" Emma stood up and gave Kendall a hug. Harry smiled politely at Robbie. Robbie thought he would choke on his eggs. He took in what Harry was wearing. His long hair lay on his shoulders. His white shirt was opened at the chest, revealing his tattoos. And his tight black skinny jeans that outlined exactly how he was shaped. Robbie's throat tightened as he tried not to stare. Harry looked very attractive.
"Robbie." Emma's arms were around their new guests. "You remember Kendall and Harry, don't you? They were at our party."
Robbie stood. "Yeah, of course. Hello, Kendall, Harry."
Kendall gave him a hug. Harry shook his hand. Robbie savored the contact. Harry's hand felt warm and strong. It was different than when they were at the party. This time it was Robbie who didn't want to let go.
"How're the wedding plans coming along?" Kendall asked.
Emma rolled her eyes and sighed. "Girl, don't get me started. There's so much to do it's killing me. Sometimes I wish I could take Robbie's advice and just do it in Vegas and get it over with."
"I know right."
Harry and Robbie just gazed at each other, not knowing what to say as they searched each other's faces.
Emma broke the spell when she tapped Robbie's shoulder. "We're going to go have some girl talk. Can you boys play on your own for a while?"
Harry shrugged. "I'm down if you are." He said to Robbie.
"Sure, I think we can play nice." Robbie said feeling as if his heart was going to pound out of his chest. He wondered if he looked as guilty and freaked out as he felt. Harry on the other hand seemed calm.
"Good." Emma took Kendall's arm. "We'll see you in a while." They walked away while talking.
The men stood there feeling a little awkward. Then Robbie shook his head. "Sorry, my manners took the day off. Would you like anything? A drink or something?"
"I'm good." Harry looked around. "Do you mind if we go for a walk or something?"
Robbie thought that was a good idea. He led them around the grounds of the country club. The weather was very pleasant. They saw people out on the golf course and some dining outside. Robbie wondered if Harry had something wicked in mind.
"You know," Harry said. "When I was younger I used to wish I could afford to hang out in places like this."
"You didn't? I practically grew up here." Robbie said.
"I didn't grow up with money though," Harry said. "My family was poor."
Robbie was surprised at the way he admitted that without embarrassment. "Really?"
"Does that surprise you?"
It occurred to Robbie that he didn't know anything about Harry. They had done the unspeakable with each other and he didn't know a single thing about him. "Where did you grow up?" Robbie asked.
"Cheshire. I used to work in a bakery, if you can believe it."
Robbie tried to picture Harry covered in flour while pounding on dough. The image was funny. "So how did you get from there to here?"
"I worked my butt off, saved up and built my own club," Harry said as they walked. "I worked in clubs before so I could learn everything about running one."
Robbie nodded. "Impressive." He meant it. Harry seemed very ambitious to get himself out of poverty. "What made you choose nightclubs?"
"I always wanted a place where guys can get together and have a good time." Harry said. "A place where guys can get much love just being themselves."
Robbie looked at Harry. Really looked at him. He loved how thoughtful Harry looked when he told his story. Robbie felt touched. This was a different side to him. Impulsively Robbie reached down and took Harry's hand.

Harry seemed pleased and gave Robbie's hand a squeeze. They continued walking while making small talk about everything. Robbie was enjoying himself. He had never felt more natural. This felt right. Just walking and holding hands with Harry was more fun than anything he could imagine. He could do this all day.
"So Robbie," Harry said. "When did you first find out."
Robbie was confused. "Find out what?"
"That you liked other boys."
