Louis' POV

"Niall did whAT TO MEAGHAN?!" I screamed at Liam on the phone. I thought he told us he was going to get half custody of Shane, not full! "So he lied to everyone. Especially Meaghan."
"I'm not happy about it either." Liam said. "He's being very selfish once again."
"I know, and Meaghan has already been through enough. Whatever Niall is planning, he needs to stop."
"Liam?" I asked.
"Yes Lou?"
"Did you say when the court date will be?"
"I believe Niall said Sunday." Liam answered. It's Saturday morning now. So tomorrow. Great! Note the sarcasm. I got a plan though. "What's Meaghan's address?" After when Liam told me her address I hung up the phone and ran to her apartment. It wasn't far from mine, so why drive? I walked in the door and pressed the call button.
"Meaghan? It's Louis, please open the door." A buzzing sound went off and the door unlocked. I smiled and opened the door. I looked at all the doors numbers until I reached Meaghan's. I knocked on the door.
"Meag? It's just me, Louis." I heard a bit of shuffling and waited until the door unlocked.
"Meaghan I promise it's just me. Please open the door." I promised her. I heard a sniffle from the door and it opened slightly. I pushed the door open and gasped at what I saw. Her apartment was horrible! It was smelly, and dusty, and lots of holes and cracks on the walls. I shut the door and looked at Meaghan. She was bundled up in a blanket, almost like a cocoon. I frowned. This is not my first time seeing her like this on the couch. I shuffled my way to her and sat beside her. Her hair is greasy and she smells a bit. Or it's the apartment. She needs to shower.
"Meaghan, sitting here wrapped up like a cocoon in blanket isn't going to help." I said. I know it's not the best way to start a conversation but I'm so worried about her.
"Your point is?" Meaghan asked. I frowned. Her voice was so slow, it made her seem like she was small.
"The court date is Sunday. It's Saturday right now. How about you go shower? I can lay out some clothes for you." I tried to help.
"They shut off my water." I thought for a moment.
"Come with me, your coming to mine! I'll get Taylor to get you some new clothes and hey- what's this?" I picked up a bag that had a toy in it.
"Taylor and Liam got it for Sh- Shane." Meaghan whispered. And then I noticed the phone.
"You got a new phone Meag!" I exclaimed, grabbing the phone box and put down the bag.
"What?" Meaghan asked. I opened the box and took out the phone.
"It looks like Liam got you a new phone." I told her. She unwrapped herself from the blanket and I handed her the phone and she took it. Her eyes were glued to it. It's like she hasn't seen a phone like this before.
"Alright, let's go to mine first so you can shower. I'll get Lou to come so she can do your hair. I'll also get Taylor to go shopping and buy you some new clothes." I said, taking her hand and dragging her out of the apartment.
"Do you live far?" She asked me.
"No I don't. It's about a 3 minute walk." I answered. I hummed and turned the street that I live on. Meaghan followed beside me.
"Shit." I muttered under my breath when I saw paps around my flat. I put my sweater over Meaghan and held her close to me.
"Trust me on this Meaghan okay. Just walk and I'll tell you if there's a step." I explained. I held her tighter, trying to push through the crowd.
"Fucking move!" I hissed at the pap who tried to block our way. "Fucking don't touch her!" I yelled, stepping on the mans foot who tried to take the sweater off Meaghan. We finally made it inside my flat, and I took off the sweater.
"There, I just didn't want the paps to see you just yet." I said. Well shit, that came out worse than I thought it was.
"Calling me ugly?" Meaghan whimpered.
"No Meaghan, I didn't mean it like that! I didn't want the paps taking pictures of you because you get claustrophobic when you see them." I explained.
"Yeah I know I sorry." Meaghan said.
"No need to be sorry. How about you go shower now and I'll make some calls alright?" Meaghan nodded her head and went up the stairs. I heard her footsteps go into the bathroom and soon enough I heard the shower running. I took out my phone and called Lou.
"Hello Louis!" Lou chirped.
"Lou can you come over? I want you to help to do Meaghan's hair because I can't." I asked her.
"Meaghan? As in Niall's ex Meaghan?"
"Yes, can you please come?!" I begged.
"Course I will! I missed seeing that girl!" I smiled.
"Thanks Lou!" I exclaimed and hung up the phone. This time I called Taylor.
"Hi Louis, you okay mate?" Taylor asked me.
"Yup I'm good thanks! I have a fashion emergency though!"
"What is it?!"
"Can you go out and buy some new clothes for Meaghan? She's in the shower right now. Or maybe you can bring her some extra clothes for now, and then go out and take all the time you need for clothes shopping."
"Sure! I'll be over in a few minutes!"
"Thanks Tay!" I said.
"No problem! Glad I can help!" I smiled and hung up the phone.
