She quickly learned her lesson and got her hands dirty to work hard for the money that they didn't have anymore, and even her father's new business succeeded again, she was a changed person; she learned to value everything all around her. This explains why every year, they gather at her place for the guns and etcetera.
NOTES: She loses her temper quickly around Levi, while she has more patience for everyone else. She also likes eating—she considers sleep to be the most important thing. She also believes that she's not good enough to be a leader, as she does not possess all the qualities that make up a successful leader. She thinks Levi or Mikasa would be far more better candidate than herself.

BACKSTORY: Levi is the son of a prostitute, named Kuchel, who worked in the Underground. One day, Kenny Ackerman, Kuchel's older brother, comes to the city to see her, only to find that she is dead. There he finds a young and squalid Levi sitting in front of his mother's bed. Kenny decides to take care of him, but he does not consider himself a good father, so he raised Levi as he could: teaching him knife skills, how to get along with people, and violent behavior. The time passed and Kenny ended up teaching Levi everything he knows. One day, in the city, Levi started a fight, which he won easily. At that moment, Kenny decided to leave him, as he had made sure that he and Levi were not going to have a pathetic death like Kuchel.
NOTES: He gets 2-3 hours of sleep on a daily basis, as he suffers slight insomnia. He also prefers a chair over a bed when sleeping. He uses this to his advantage, taking the longest nightwatch shifts so that his group can properly rest.

He had been separated from his mother since that day—he assumed that she was probably dead. He regrets and often sits in remorse as he couldn't do anything to protect her, and hopes that none of his friends face the same fate.
NOTES: He's very talkative, and won't shut up once he begins talking.
