It was a winters night, the cold wind blowing harsh at the mages exposed torso and chest. But, it never bothered him and it never will.  He started to walk faster through the snow to get to his house quicker. Gray tugged at the scarf, his wife had made for him to loosen it from his neck. The cold air didn't even tickle his skin a bit.

The ice wizard was swimming through thoughts in his head as he was on his way home. Most of these thoughts were about his lovely wife, if she had any worries, and if he could solve them. Gray kept thinking through deep thoughts until he stopped walking and glanced to his side. He saw a jewelry store that caught his eye.

Gray looked to one of the beautiful necklaces in display. It had a large diamond strap with a stunning rain drop symbol placed right in the center made of silver. He immediately thought of Juvia and rushed into the store while pulling out his wallet from his pocket. He flipped through his wallet to grab as much money he had. Gray looked at the necklaces price and his jaw dropped. "1,000,000 jewl...." He mumbled and checked if he had that much to spend. He was short by 500,000 jewl...

But Gray didn't care. He needed to get this masterpiece for his wife. He lifted it up and walked straight to the counter. He placed the necklace down as he gathered his money.

The store cashier looked at him with thought. "I see your short on money" he grumbled and leaned closer to the counter. Gray looked up to from his palm full of money to the man "um...yea.." He sighed and put his grasp of money on the counter. "I just, wanted to get my wife something" he mumbled as he looked to the necklace and smiled. The man noticed the passion deep in the wizards eyes. "Here. I'll make a deal with you kid." He said while grinning "I'll take your money you have put down and you may take the necklace. I remember love. It's strong and can over power anything. I hope your wife will enjoy it" he said with joy as he shoved the necklace in Grays ice cold hands.

Gray was shocked but grateful to the mans kind act "thank you sir, thank you" he said as the corners of his mouth curved up to create a smile. The man smiled back and nodded "don't mention it son, just get home and make your lover smile" he laughed. Gray chuckled and nodded as he rushed out of the jewelry store.

While Gray was heading back home, Juvia sat on the windowsill, examining the details of the outside, How the trees curved in the wind, how the snow fell peacefully and everything else. She was looking to her hand every now and then to see her wedding ring in worry. 'Was he ok? Did he get in an accident? Is he stuck at a job?' All these thoughts fluttered through her head. Then, the beautiful blue haired Mage stood up and headed to the door to find her husband.

Until, the door swung open as Juvia hopped back slightly in fright. Then her face was full of relief.

" honey I'm home!!!" He echoed in the house with a laugh as he lifted up his wife and gave her a passionate kiss on her cheek. Juvia giggled and put her hands on his cheeks "Juvia was so worried Gray Sama got hurt!" She squeaked and grasped him into a hug.

He smiled and hugged her back tightly "don't worry sweet heart I'm fine" he said softly as he pulled away from the hug. "Now princess, close your eyes" he smiled and chuckled. "What is it?" She asked while giggling and shutting her eyes like what she was told. "You'll see darling" he said as he slipped the necklace out of his pocket and Placed it on her neck as it dropped perfectly over her chest.

She opened her eyes when she felt the necklace around her neck and laying slightly on her chest. Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth as she swirled over to her husband "I love it!!! Thank you Gray Sama!!" She squealed and jumped into his arms. He held her close and smiled "your welcome. Anything for my princess" he said as he pecked her cheek.

Juvia giggled and kissed him deeply. They kissed for about 2 minutes before they both pulled away.

They both smiled brightly as Gray set her down to her feet. Juvia embraced him with a smile as she looked to the clock. It was 12:01 am. "Gray Sama, it's time for bed" she spook so softly, it felt like the wind. Gray nodded as he nuzzled his nose with hers. "Alright, let's go get some rest" he tried to speak as softly as Juvia had but, his darker voice just made it a plain whisper. She smiles and nods as she grabbed his hand and walked to the bedroom with her husband.

They both got onto the bed and got settled. Gray glanced over to his wife who was laying down, still wearing the necklace. He scooted closer to his wife and wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled his head into her neck. She giggles and rubs his head while she hugged him back. "Aren't you gonna take that off sweetie?" Gray asked with a yawn as he shut his eyes and hugged her tightly to his chest. Juvia shook her head and hugged close as she could to his chest "I'll never take off this necklace" she spook and yawned as well.

He chuckled and kissed her cheek "good night. I love you" he said a little louder."I love you too, Gray Sama" she responded.

They both hugged close to each other and with that, they both fell into a wonderful sleep while cuddled together, Forever, waiting for the next morning, for them to awake from their loving slumber.
