"What do you wanna do now? I mean, there's really not much to do." Yoongi asked once's they arrived at his house.
"Cuddles?" Jimin mumbled.
"Of course." Yoongi smiled, taking Jimin upstairs by the hand to head to his bedroom.
He laid on his bed and yawned sleepily, patting the spot beside him for Jimin to lay down beside him, though Jimin climbed onto his lap instead and laid himself onto Yoongi's upper body.
"You're too damn cute." Yoongi laughed to himself as he secured his arms around the smaller.
"Call me that again." Jimin lifted his head slightly to look down into Yoongi's eyes.
"Cutie." He whispered, Jimin simply pecking his lips before climbing off of Yoongi and laying beside him.
"I like when you call me little nicknames." Jimin giggled softly.
"Which is you're favorite?" Yoongi wondered.
"Baby, even though you rarely call me that anymore." The boy pouted.
"Aww, I'm sorry. I thought maybe you'd think it was cringey so I stopped a little bit." Yoongi explained.
"No, I love that name. It makes me feel more like I belong to you." Jimin said shyly as he avoided eye contact.
"Look at me, baby." Yoongi whispered as he placed his index finger beneath his chin, making Jimin look at him.
He placed a tiny kiss onto his lips before they both pulled away laughing softly.
"M'sleepy." Jimin whispered.
"Go to sleep then, Jimin." Yoongi insisted.
"I wanna keep talking, though." Jimin pouted, going quiet for a moment before speaking up again.
"I think that...maybe I'll try the operation." He began.
Yoongi's eyes widened slightly.
"Are you sure? You said there was no point." Yoongi recalled.
"Well, like you said, I never really know until I try it." The boy shrugged. "But I don't have strong hopes in it. A tiny part of me is hoping it works, the majority knows it's not." He said.
"Well, I do have high hopes." Yoongi countered.
"You shouldn't." Jimin shook his head.
"Why do you say that, hmm?" Yoongi propped his head up on his hand as he looked down at Jimin with a concerned expression.
"Because there's barely a chance it's actually going to work. I don't know why you're so hopeful." The boy laughed bitterly.
"Because I just want for you to be okay in the end, that's all-" "Well, I'm not, that's just not going to happen! Why can't you realize that?!" Jimin raised his voice, getting up from Yoongi's bed and heading towards the bathroom.
"Jimin, come on..." Yoongi followed, but Jimin had already shut and lock the door.
"Fuck..." Jimin murmured as tears began to spill from his eyes.
"Baby, please open the door. I don't wanna argue with you." Yoongi tried.
It took a few minutes, but Jimin finally opened the door, beginning to cry harder as Yoongi pulled him into his arms.
"I-I'm sorry-" "No, shhh, don't apologize, Jimin." Yoongi shook his head.
"I j-just hate t-thinking about w-what's going to happen to me. I-I hate it so much." Jimin cried.
"I know, baby. I'm sorry for pushing the whole idea about the operation on you in the first place. It's gonna be okay." He spoke gently.
"I-It was my choice anyways. I-I just didn't realize how stressful it would be." Jimin hiccuped. "A-And I didn't mean t-to yell at you." He apologized.
"It's okay, Jimin, I promise." Yoongi leaned down and placed a kiss onto his forehead.
"Let's go lay back down, m'kay? You seem sleepy and should probably just take a nap." He suggested, Jimin nodded as they walked back over to Yoongi's bed.
He laid the boy down before laying beside him, holding him close in his arms as he pulled the comforter over their bodies.
"I love you, okay? Get some rest for me." Yoongi whispered
"I love you too." Jimin whispered back, closing his eyes and almost instantly falling asleep in Yoongi's warm embrace.
...
Some hours later, Jimin had awoken to the sound of Yoongi's tv on low volume. Though the tv was playing a movie, Yoongi was staring down at his face with a small content expression.
Overridden with shyness, Jimin buried his face into Yoongi's chest to avoid eye contact, his heart thudding harder as he heard Yoongi chuckle quietly.
"Did you just watch me sleep the whole time?" Jimin asked.
"Not the whole time, but most of it." Yoongi stated proudly, caressing the side of Jimin's face so that he could carefully make the boy look at him.
"I can't help but think back to when you were in a coma for two weeks. I visited everyday, you know that?" Yoongi started.
"I know." Jimin nodded.
"I was hurting so much, but I couldn't help but just take in the time to admire how beautiful you are because when you woke up, I wasn't expecting us to get back together at all. I thought I'd truly lost you because I was so stupid." Yoongi shook his head, feeling himself getting choked up.
"So even now, when you go to sleep, I can't even sleep myself, because I'm so scared of losing you." Yoongi admitted.
"Oh, Yoongi, come here." Jimin wrapped his arms around Yoongi's neck, the older hiding his face in Jimin's shoulder as he started to cry.
"I-I really hate that I did that to you." Yoongi cried.
"I thought we agreed to let that go a while ago? I've already forgiven you." Jimin reminded.
"I-I know, b-but it still hurts so much to t-think about." The older murmured sadly.
"Look at me." Jimin whispered, Yoongi hesitantly lifting his head up so he could look into his eyes once again.
He leaned forward and planted a kiss onto the tip of Yoongi's nose, Yoongi letting out a laugh through his tears as he became flustered from the cute gesture.
"I love you so much. I really do." Yoongi said, wiping away the tears from his face.
"Yoongi?" Jimin whispered.
"Yeah?" Yoongi whispered back, but was met with Jimin's lips connecting to his.
It was a short, sweet kiss, but more than enough to give Yoongi an overwhelming amount of tummy butterflies.
It wasn't quite enough for his satisfaction, leaning back in to reconnect their lips lovingly.
He carefully climbed on top of the boy, positioning himself between his legs as he grasped his waist tightly, the kiss escalating further, and further as he guided his lips away from Jimin's and down to his neck.
"Y-Yoongi?" Jimin let out breathlessly, Yoongi continuing to to kiss at his neck gently.
He leaned away from Jimin, the both of them breathing heavily.
"I'm sorry, do you want me to stop?" Yoongi whispered.
"No, keep kissing me." Jimin shook his head.
Yoongi leaned back down to kiss his lips, though as soon as it started, their intimate moment was interrupted by Jimin's phone ringing.
They both broke away from the kiss at the same time, Jimin apologizing quietly as he sat up and reached for the phone placed on Yoongi's nightstand.
"Hello?" Jimin answered.
"Jimin, where've you been all day? I've been trying to call you, sweetie." His mother started.
"I've been with Yoongi. Sorry I forgot to tell you I was leaving earlier." Jimin said.
"It's okay, just let me know next time. I'll see you whenever you come home, alright?" Mrs. Park instructed.
"Yoongi treating you alright?" She wanted to know.
"Of course he is. Why wouldn't he?" Jimin frowned slightly.
"I was just making sure Jimin. You know, I'm just concerned considering what's happened before." She said.
"Why are you even brining that up?" Jimin sounded genuinely upset, meeting eyes with Yoongi momentarily before standing up to leave the room.
"Jimin-" "Mom we both let it go already and he's apologized numerous times. He's not going to do that to me again. It was a stupid mistake, why can't you realize that?" The boy questioned.
"Jimin, I know it was a mistake-" "Then why are you making it seem like he's a horrible person because of that. Seriously why would you even bring it up?!" Jimin shouted.
"Jimin-" "The boy hung up, running his fingers through his hair to distract himself from the tears welling up in his eyes.
"You okay, baby?" He heard Yoongi ask softly from the doorway
"No, I'm sorry, Yoongi." Jimin shook his head as he walked over to him.
"I f-feel really bad because my mom still seems l-like she doesn't trust you after what happened back in September. I don't even wanna think about h-how my dad feels about us still being together either." Jimin's words were shaky.
"Hey, it's okay. I get it. It's hard to build trust in someone after that. What matters is that I know you trust me. That's all that matters to me." Yoongi assured.
"I do trust you." Jimin said.
Yoongi just smiled, leaning down slightly and placing a kiss onto Jimin's forehead.
"I should probably take you home for the evening, yeah?" He spoke softly, and Jimin nodded in agreement.
Jimin was unsure of what to say as he sat beside Yoongi in his car, the older beginning to drive him home.
"Yoongi?" Jimin started.
"Yeah?" Yoongi glanced at him momentarily.
"Maybe it's best you don't come to my house for a bit...just until I sort things out with my parents. I had no idea they felt that way about you up until now." He suggested.
Yoongi simply hummed in response, a bit pained to hear that but it was his own fault.
Once arrived at Jimin's house, Yoongi offered to walk him to the door, being that it was dark out, and the younger was afraid to go up to the door by himself.
He held Jimin's hand as he led him up the driveway and to his front porch, the two standing facing each other.
Jimin held both of Yoongi's hands, looking up at him sadly. He could tell Yoongi was upset.
"Yoongi, I'm really sorry." He apologized.
"Don't apologize, Jimin." Yoongi shook his head. "If anything, I should be. I shouldn't have ever done that to you." He sighed.
"Please don't take it personal. I just know how my parents are sometimes when they're being overprotective. I can just come over your house instead."
Jimin opted.
"I love you, thanks for today. I'll put this in a good spot." He concluded, pointing to the bag beside him with the pumpkin Yoongi had made for him.
"I love you too, baby." Yoongi caressed his face, leaning in to kiss him gently before leaning away slightly to hug him.
Jimin went to pull away from the hug, but Yoongi's hold only got tighter around him.
"Yoongi-" "Shhh, just...j-just let me hold you for a little longer." He stopped Jimin.
"Oh, Yoongi, it's going to be okay. I promise." Jimin hugged him back just as tightly.
They stayed like that for a few minutes before Yoongi completely let go.
"I'll see you in school Monday, yeah?" Yoongi said.
Jimin gave his hand a tiny squeeze and nodded before disappearing into his house.
Only, Yoongi wouldn't.
