Shadow P.O.V

Before I exit the canteen I turned around for a second to look at the jerk, and I sent him a look that said "Challenge accepted."

Let the game begin. Show me what you have Stone. I'm ready.

I was sprinting down the halls trying to find my locker, but this school is a fucking maze. I have to find my locker. Fast. Really fast. Wonder why? Remember when I said that I have  anger management issues? I wasn't joking or dramatizing. My problem is real. Very real and if I don't take my meds fast I'm gonna blackout and beat the crap out of someone or something.

This is bad. Very, very bad.

Where the fuck is my locker?? I stopped and I leaned against a locker. Okay, now I need to remember what the doctor said I need to do if a have an angry attack and no meds with me.

Sit down. Breath in and out easily. Try to stabilize your breathing and think about things that makes you calm. If it doesn't work, you're screwed Shadow so take your meds with you everywhere!

I droped myself on the floor and I started to take deep breathes. Why it doesn't work??? I'm screwed. So so so screwed. I was about to sprint the hell out of here but a voice stopped me.

"Oh my God! Lighty are you okay? What am I saying? Of course you aren't! What happened? How can I help you?" a very worried Sparky, almost panicked one, said and hurried to me.

"Me...locker.....now.....fast" was all I could say between my ragging breath.

"Okay. Let's go." she said with a determinat expression on her face.

She helped me to stand up and put her hand around my waist to help me walk.

"Now we need to run. Lighty can you do that? Or I need to run to one of your brothers?" when I heard her second plan I started to shake my head No and keep gesturing ahead.

"Fine. Now let's go." she said and we started to run. Well, trying because we were stumbling at every single step. After agonizing minutes, which felt like hours, we arrived at my locker.

I hurried to put my combination in and after I opened it, I started to look frenecticaly after my meds.

"What are you searching? Let my help you!" Sparky said and she pushed me easily away from my locker.

"Meds...white....bottle." I said and I showed her how big the bottle was.

She noded her head and started to search the bottle. I keeped looking at her. This girl knows me for just 3 or 4 hours and is helping me through my attack.

"Found them. How much of them do you need to take?" I raised 2 fingers. "Do you need water?" I shock my head No.

Finally after she gave me my meds I gulped them without water. I couldn't reasist until she gave me water. We stayed in silence until I could breath normal again.

"I'm sorry Sparky that you had to see this. And that you had to find out like this. I guess I own you an explication." I said and looked up at her because I was still on the floor.

"No. No, you don't. You don't have to tell me now. I'll wait until you are ready to tell me but" she sighed "just don't scare me like this again okay?" she said and looked at me with a soft gaze.

I stared at her for a moment. After she saw me almost losing my shit, probably almost going all Hulk, and scaring the shit out at her, she still wants to wait until I'm ready to tell her.

"I don't deserve a friend so good as you are." I finally said at the verge of crying.

She snorted. "Shut up! Don't ever ever in your little life, think about yourself like this again! You deserve a good friend! You deserve to be happy too! You are a person too, you know? Don't ever think like that again, okay?" I looked at her through her speech and I saw how serious she was. She was talking like she really believed those words. When I looked into her deep brown eyes, I realized that she really believed those words and in some way she made me believe them too.

I gave her a small smile and got up from the floor. I stared her dead in the eyes and said "I'll gave you my word to never think like that again if" I stopped to take a deep breath "if you'll be there for me. If you'll try to help me, to get out of this mess. To stop being like this. I really want to stop this, but no one ever tried to help me, to understand me. Not even my brothers. They just sent me to some therapy with some fossils which they call psyhologists. Not even the psyhologists wouldn't help me. They would just gave me meds to make me forget. To make me a vegetable, but of course I never took those meds because I'm not stupid. I knew what they were trying to do. Anyway, I started to talk bullshits so-"

I stopped when I saw her staring at me. "I think I shouldn't have said those things. Sorry f-" I wanted to tell her to forget about it but I was cut short when she pulled me in a hug.

"Of course I'll help you dummy. That's what a best friend does. And those things are not bullshits! Those are very important things but very wrong also. You should talk to your brothers and tell them what you told me." she paused and looked at me. "But anyway" she continued and hold her little finger in front of me "I Sparky O' Connor, I pinky promise to always be there for you, and always to help you through your bad days." she finished with a smile.

I put my little finger around her's. "I Shadow Lighty Thunder, I pinky promise to never think bad about myself ever again, and I promise to be by your side when you need me too, because that's what best friends do." I said and gave her a big smile.

She smiled too and pulled me in another hug, but this one was different. This one held a promise. Now, all I could do was to pray to the Lord that she will keep her promise because if she will leave me, I don't know what I'll do.

"Now, now enough with all this girly girl things. Let's do something badass like we really are." I said and pulled out of her hug.

She laughed. "Yeah? Like what?" she said and raised her eyebrows at me.

I smirked at her. "Let's ditch the last 3 hours of school."

"And where we will go genius? And if we ditch the director will call our parents." she said in a let's-see-what-you-can-do-now.

"First, let me ask you something. Do you have skipped a class before?" I asked her while eyeing her.

"No, but I don't see why this is relevant." she said confused.

"It is because I skipped classes before and I know what can we do to don't get caught." I said smirking.

"Okay, let's say we will not get caught. Where we'll go?"

"At my house." I said while started to walk to the exit.

"Wait! But your parents or your big brother?" she asked curios and a little scared.

"My parents are dead and my brother will leave me alone if I tell him what happened, and he will also call the director and lie to him something." I answered her question and grabbed her wrist.

"Okay cool." was all she could say.

After 5 minutes of trying to find the exit, because of course my ego didn't let me to let Sparky guide me, we finally were in the parking lot.

"I told you I can find it." I said with pride.

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Now my car is that matted black Audi A8 from there. He is my baby and his name is Shiro." she said and pointed her finger at an amazing Audi.

"Nice baby, Sparky. You have my respect for this but you know, I really want to ride that masterpiece but I have to take my baby home with me." I said when I realized that she wanted to be my ride home.

"Oh, sorry. I thought that one of your brothers drove you. Anyway which one is your baby?"

"This one is my baby Ferret!" I said pointing at my motorcycle.

Her eyes twinkled in excitement. "Oh my God! This is the motorcycle I was staring at this morning!! This one really is your baby???!!"

"Yes, yes it is. Now go to your car. Lunch is almost over in 5 minutes and it will be full of people!" I said after I saw what time is it.

"Okay. I'll follow you because I don't know where are you living." I just nodded at her and got on my baby.

After I put my helmet on and closed the visor, I pressed the gas pedal and took of at high speed. I hope Sparky can keep in pace. I looked behind to make sure that I didn't left her behind, but to my surprinse(a happy one) she was right in my back. I gave her a thumbs up. Finally after a 5 minutes ride we arrived at my house and parked in front of it. I took my helmet off and I saw Sparky alredy out of her car staring at the house.

"Yes I live here, and yes I know it's huge. Even I'm still not use to it. Now let's go inside." I said because I was very excited to show Sparky my room.

She shook her head and said. "Let's goooo." and started to walk to the door which was next to the pool.

I chuckled. "Sparky that's not the good entrance. We need to go through another door to find my room. That one leads to the basement."

"Let's go again!" she said and changed direction.

I started to run and when I passed her I told her "Come one lazy ass! My room is this way."

"Lighty that is called plagiarism!" she screamed but she started to run after me.

After I pushed the door open and took the direction of the stairs, I bumped into something hard, Sparky bumped into me and we both fell butt first.

"What are you doing home at this hour?" I looked up and realized that Ethan was the thing I bumped into.

"I had an attack at luch but" I said but fast when I saw Ethan alredy starting to panick "my new best friend Sparky helped me."

After I said that Ethan looked at Sparky like he hasn't noticed her until then.

"Oh. So you are that Sparky girl, Flame told me about." Ethan said and stared at her not so nicely.

I scoffed. "First, stop staring it's rude. And secondly, why he told you about her? Doesn't matter. She is a good person, I swear! Don't listen to him! She didn't commit any crime!" I stopped and whispered to Sparky "You didn't commit any crime, did you?"

She shook her head No. "See!"

Ethan started to laugh. "He said she is a cute little girl and that she looks like a good influence to you. She even fight with those idiots when they told her that it's not a good idea to let you 2 be friends."

"THEY WHAAAAT?!! I'M GONNA MURDER THEM!! WHICH ONE OF THEM SAID?? TELL MEEE!" I said my face red with anger.

"Sam said that, but Flame said is a good idea. After I started to scream at them that is non of their bussines. Now calm down I don't want you to have another attack." Sparky said fast when she saw that I was getting angry by minute.

I laughed at her worried face. "Sparky I don't have an attack every time I'm getting angry. To have an attack, any kind, you need a trigger. Mine was that fucker staring at me. Now I don't have any trigger so I'll be fine."

She slapped and glared at me. "You idiot! Don't laugh at me! You scared me there!"

I was about to say something to calm her down but Ethan talked first.

"Shadow this time you choose a good one. Try not to screw this up."

"Shut the fuck up. You know nothing." I said and started to run upstairs and I can hear Sparky running after me.

I stopped just after I entered my room and jumped in my bed.

"Are you okay?" Sparky asked softly and take a seat next to me.

"Yeah. Now you understand what I told you about them?" I sighed. "Anyway now would you like to help me paint my bedroom door?"

Her face lit up like a Christmas tree. "Of course! I love painting! What you want to paint on it?"

"Well, I though that maybe I should write on the middle Warning! Wild animal! And I want to paint some lighting bolts." I said thoughtfull.

"Sounds good to me." she said while she was looking at my pictures. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure. Go ahead." I said while I tried to find my painting color palettes.

"Who is this guy? You have a lots of photographies of you two and you look very close."

I stopped dead in my tracks. After a second, I took a deep breath and looked up at the photograph in her hand.

It was a photograph where I was on his back like a koala in a tree. We both had happy faces and our eyes were sparkling from sunshine's rays.

"That is my brother Lincoln." I said with a sad smile. "I remember that day like it was yesterday. It was a sunny Sunday, so we all decided to go in the park and spent some time together. Everything was fine until this idiot stole and ate my ice cream. For revenge, I jumped on his back and I tried to put him down. Tried is the key word."

She laughed. "You two look almost identical. I think if you were a boy or he was a girl you two would be identical." Sparky said and I started to laugh at that idea.

"Yeah, we look almost identical because he is my quadruplet. Well, he was. He died last year. At a month after this picture was take." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Sorry. I shouldn't-" she tried to apologise but I cut her short.

"Oh, shut up. I'm fine and it's normal to put questions. So stop apologizing." I said after I put the photo back. "Now let's paint that fucking door!"

"Yes sir!" she mocked a salute and we started to work at our masterpiece.

Now, now let's see how I'm going to ask her about Flame and her strange acting around him.

"Sparky. What's the thing with you and Flame?"
