Melody's PVO
Shadow teleports everyone to the house, I get to work with their ship. My mind is running like a train at full speed due to last night. Shadow kissed me, it's the only thing on my mind and I can't stop thinking about it. I pull myself into the cubby hole that leads to the engine and open the hatch. Then a conversation that I knew I would have one day starts.

Vector: So your hanging out with Shadow and Rouge?

Melody: Ya, what's wrong with that?

Vector: You shouldn't be, your too soft for them. They would break you in a split second.

I get out of my spot and stand straight in front of him.

Melody: Do you want to test that theory?

Vector steps back a bit.

Vector: I'm just trying to help you, their not the people you should be hanging out with.

I go back to my examination of the engine again as he speaks, quite angry at him for what he is implying. All my life I have been called weak, incapable of defending myself and I'm sick of it. But I'm not going to take it out on him, that wouldn't be right.

Melody: Shadow and Rouge are just misunderstood. They can actually be really sweet if you give them a chance.

Vector: Shadow? Sweet? Impossible, he is to stone hearted for that.

I clinch my fists and my face is turning red. I need to calm down. If I go back and Shadow sees me red faced he will know that something is wrong. I suck some air in and let it out, in hope that this will calm me down. Thankfully it did. I get out of their ship and come to flat ground. Vector grabs my hands from behind and spins me around to face him.

Vector: Melody, I love you, I loved since I first saw you.

I look down at the ground. Great, now I have to make him feel bad and reject him, because I don't feel the same. I love Shadow, I always have from the time I had my first vision of him. Shadow is the only one for me.

Melody: I'm sorry Vector, I don't feel the same way. I already kissed someone, and he is the only one for me.

Vectors hands drop to his sides. He is trying to smile, but I can tell that he is crying on the inside.

Vector: That's OK, if your happy with who your with then I won't try to take you away from him. Whoever he is, his a lucking guy.

Melody: Ya, you ready to go meet up with your crew?

Vector: You bet.

I make a teleportation circle around us, the same one I used to teleport Shadow home, and I smile at that thought. Shadow will always be my love, forever and passed the end.
