So, after 500+ reads, a pretty stable rank since this was published almost two weeks ago, and tons of amazing feedback from amazing people, I find myself staring at my monitor realizing I have forgotten [the klutz that I am] to give recognition to where it is due.

The idea behind this collection was born on a Thread called Discover and be Discovered [something like that] on a gloomy October 17th. Someone broke my heart and I found myself unable to write. It was then that this hero of a girl told me to write about my "heartbreak" instead. So, Shadows was born. I dunno if she remembers that particular conversation but it happened. It was as real as the number votes on here.

I thank and salute the amazing Karly Caserza. You have no idea how amazing you are. This is for you.
