I shielded my face from the rain that was pouring down around me. Something was wrong. I have never been here before. I'm not supposed to be here at all.
Lightning struck the huge tower in front of me, and buzzed down the sides. I want to run, but it's like my feet are glued in place. There is nobody else on the street. Lightning strikes in a circle around the tower, starting from the opposite end. Two bolts hit the ground at once. One bolt on either side if me, and I still couldn't move. The last bolt came down in slow motion, and everything was silent. As it hit me, I caught a glance of a man walking out of the tower, just before my vision went black.
