"Yeah i'm good sorry, do you need help with anything else?" i asked he shook his head, " no unless you wanna make me dinner?" Shawn suggested and laughed "i'm kidding"

"Well i mean my dads not home to have dinner with me so i mean i could make me and you dinner but it might be on the safer side to just go and get some food if you wanted " i said smiling he nodded.

 "Yeah i'm hungry and my moms not home so whatever my dad is making will be burnt" he said with a serious expression on his face, i started laughing. "What i'm serious!! He's a horrible cook!" he said smiling i kept laughing, nodding. 

 "I .......believe you" i said between my uncontrollable laughter, he began laughing to, only it wasn't at himself it was me. There were tears falling from my eyes and i was hunched over holding my stomach. Finally when i calmed down i stood back up right and caught my breath. 

"So, you wanna take my car or mine?" i said still attempting to catch my breath, he stopped laughing too. "Uh, my car is dirty right now cause my friends are pigs so probably your car, unless you wanna take mine." he said i shook my head

"Nope that's perfect, my car is clean cause i don't have any friends to mess up my car" i said and he laughed. I started walking towards my car, i turned around to see a not moving jack.

 "Hey! Dork lets go! I'm hungry!" i yelled at him he shook his head and laughed running to the car. I got in and started it, he got in right after.

"Is this brand new?" he asked, I nodded pulling out of the driveway

I slowly pulled out of my driveway " yeah my dad just got it for me today actually" I said, he nodded. "Well that's pretty cool of him" he said i kept my eyes on the road. "Yeah but, i think he only did it out of guilt so" i replied regretting it instantly, i saw him look at me out of the corner of my eye.

"What do you mean "out of guilt"?" jack asked, i shook my head. "Nothing just forget i said anything, he was just being cool" i said and he kept quite. We had stopped at a red light. "So i'm new here so where do you wanna go, and give me directions please and thank you" I said and laughed

"Actually go there" he said pointing to a small diner just up the road, i nodded and right when the light turned green i stepped on the gas going faster than i should have. "Slow down!" Shawn yelled laughing holding onto the seat, i shook my head pulling into the diner and parked.

We both got out of the car and began walking into the diner "you are a horrible driver" Shawn said opening and holding the door open for me, i shook my head. "I'm a great driver you're just a baby" he laughed at my remark, following behind me.

A waiter came up to us "table for 2?" She asked I nodded.  "Okay booth or table" I looked at shawn

"Booth please" he said, ",okay follow me please" she said as she started walking, we did as told and followed.  We sat down across from eachother and the waiter gave us menus.

"My name is Angie and I'll be your waiter today can I get you guys anything to drink?" She said smiling, "I'll have water please" I said.  "Sprite for me" shawn said and with that she smiled and walked away.

"So, why'd you move here" shawn asked. "Something's happened back where i used to live so my dad talked to his boss and got a job transfer and here i am." i told him trying not to think so much on the situation, looking at the menu.

He simply nodded, the waiter walked up setting our drinks and straws on the table. "Thank you," i smiled. "Do you guys need more time or are you ready to order?" she asked, "i'm ready if you are" shawn said to me. We ordered our food and it came out surprisingly fast.

~~30 minutes later~~

We were laughing so hard that we we crying. "I can't believe- that happened!" I said laughing. "Why the fuck would you sleep with a belt around your neck?!" i kept laughing.

"I was playing! I didn't plan on that happening!" he said calming down. "So lemme get this straight, you almost died, just from playing dog?" i said between breaths

"No!" he said pretending to be all defensive, "I was playing puppy!" he replied and i started laughing even harder then I was before, he chuckled and stared at me.

"Why are you staring at my like that?" I said, i felt my cheek heat up and knew I was blushing. "You're just cute when you laugh." he shrugged smiling,

"well thank you" I smiled and i tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and pick up a french fry taking a bite out of it. 

Shawns POV ~

She thanked me and tucked a piece of her long brown hair behind her ear before picking up a french fry taking a bite out of it and smiled looking out the window. It was getting dark outside.

"So, are you ready to go?" she asked and i looked at her plate which wasn't gone yet. "Im not in a rush, you can finish your food 

"No no, i'm full i can't eat anymore." she said putting her hands up smiling, I nodded getting out my wallet then i saw her going to get hers.

"No, i'll pay" i said she shook her head, and saw the waitress coming up and grabbed my wallet. "I'm paying" she smiled and handed the waitress her debit card. 

Soooooo this I just thought was cute :)
