❝i know.❞ jiro showed jeffrey a look. his face showed pain. ❝what should i do?❞

❝you haven't asked him to be your boyfriend i'm—❞ jeffrey stood up and started to walk away, ❝i'm leaving.❞

well, jiro and chan exchanged "i love you"s but neither of them asked one to be their boyfriend. guess chan knows where he belongs in the relationship and that he is just waiting for jiro to ask him out while jiro is a chicken and can't do it since he doesn't know how.

jiro quickly grabbed jeffrey's wrist in a flash and pulled him down the bed, making the other go back in lying down. ❝what a good friend you are.❞

jeffrey rolled his eyes, trying to sit up. ❝are we even friends?❞

jiro is known to be cold, having a look that hates everybody around him, so tall that you'd be like an ant standing next to him, but this jiro right here is so desperate. too desperate that he's now acting cute for jeffrey to help him. ❝jiro and jeffrey are friends!❞

he looked stupid, jeffrey isn't going to even lie. even jiro knows he looks stupid. but he is working hard, jeffrey is going to give him that. but still, ❝no, i'm not going to help you.❞

❝why?❞ jiro groaned, among everyone why did he even call jeffrey. well, the twins and the girls are busy with their final exams and he can't ask twenty, that shorty would tease the shit out of him.

❝because,❞ jeffrey pushed jiro away who's getting closer just to hear his valid excuse into why he can't help him in asking chan out to be his boyfriend. ❝i have a very important appointment.❞

the other tower scoffed. ❝appointment my ass.❞ he gave jeffrey a look, ❝you just don't want me to ask chan out because you still have feelings for him.❞

❝oh shut up.❞ jiro could remember twenty's birthday where in that shorty cried because jeffrey wasn't there only to know that this tower right here is inside the box that is his gift for twenty, a boyfriend. which is himself. jiro got to admit, it was one amazing plan and sweetest way to ask someone to be your boyfriend. but he hates jeffrey, there's no way he's going to praise the other for having one amazing idea. ❝then why won't you help me?❞

❝okay fine!❞ the other finally gave up. not like he has a choice, jiro would only annoy him until he helps.

jiro's eyes glittered at what jeffrey said, ❝are you serious?❞ he tackled the other male and hugged him so tight that jeffrey was suffocating.

❝get off!❞

the other fortunately get off from jeffrey before that poor boy would die. ❝so,❞

what jiro did was only smile, waiting for what jeffrey has to say. he was thinking that jeffrey would just throw him a lot of confessing ideas and he'll just pick one but sadly that's not how you do it. knowing that look on jiro's face, jeffrey sighed.

❝man, you need to work hard for this.❞ he said, patting jiro by the shoulder. ❝it needs to be your idea, you're the one that's going to ask him out.❞

❝wait, so you're not going to give me any ideas?❞

❝nope.❞ jeffrey said, making sure to pop the p. ❝make sure to think fast or else that rin guy will get chan from you.❞

furrowing his brows, jiro was clueless on who was that name jeffrey just mentioned. ❝who the fuck is rin?❞

❝uncle yuta and uncle sicheng's son. they just arrived last month.❞ jeffrey's jaw then dropped upon realizing something. ❝you don't know rin, does that mean you don't know that he and chan are now close friends?❞

❝they are what!?❞ and his jealousy button was switched on, which he took a deel breath to calm himself down. chan would always remind him to control his jealousy, although the younger found that side of jiro very hot.

jiro onced almost killed a student for just giving chan a box of chocolates. he did get into detention for punching the innocent student and he did get scolded by his papa, and jisung did nothing but stand there. because he too was a jealous person, he feels jiro a hundred percent.

❝they are friends.❞ jeffrey said, emphasising the word friends but seeing the look on jiro's face made gave jeffrey an idea. ❝oh, but i heard from twenty that rin has feelings for chan.❞

hearing that made jiro's ears twitch.

❝what should we do romeo?❞ a smirk was visible on jeffrey's face, ❝your juliet is—❞

❝shut up before i rip off your lungs.❞ jiro threatened, jeffrey might have gone too far. ❝now, i have a simple idea but i don't know if chan is going to say yes to this.❞

it's chan they are talking to, the boy appreciates everything. ❝you do know that this is chan we are talking about?❞

sighing, jiro nodded. he knows chan loves it simple. he could even just go to chan and simple ask him out without any surprises and the boy will give him a big fat yes. but jiro finds that boring and chan isn't just anyone. chan is someone, someone special that needs to be treated like a princess.

jiro opened his mouth to say something, his plan in asking chan out to be his boyfriend, but jeffrey's phone suddenly rang. he turned to look at the male sitting in front of him as his ringtone echoed around the room.

twenty's laugh, that was his call ringtone, this is how whipped he is. ❝e-excuse me..❞ jeffrey cleared his throat as he answered the call from his boyfriend. ❝hm?❞

"jeffrey i don't want you to freak out."

❝why? what's wrong?❞

"are you with jiro?"

jeffrey eyed jiro, guessing that his boyfriend won't say anything if he finds out that jiro is just sitting right ingot of him, staring at him with his brows raised. ❝no, i'm alone.❞

he then turned the loudspeaker on for jiro to hear, "it's about chan!"

❝what about chan?❞ jeffrey covered the male's mouth as he managed to continue what jiro was about to ask.

"he's at the hospital!"

twenty placed his phone down and gave chan a worried look, bursting into laughing after. ❝i'm such a pro.❞

❝you think he will come?❞ chan sighed as he slouched his back.

❝i'm going to kick his ass if he won't.❞

pulling the covers up, chan observed the rose he is hiding under the hospital blankets. ❝what if he will say no?❞

❝oh my god,❞ twenty groaned as he rolled his eyes. ❝you two have been together without label for like, six months now. how can he say no?❞

it's true that they are at the hospital but there's nothing wrong with chan. twenty was glad that his parents are close to the owner of this hospital and they decided to make a plan for chan to ask jiro out to be his boyfriend since the boy is taking too long. not like he couldn't wait anymore, it's just that maybe jiro is the one waiting for chan to ask him out.

❝they're here.❞ twenty quickly ran to chan and made him hide under the covers. mumbling a goodluck to him, he also fixed himself. fix meaning he ruffled his hair, fanning his eyes until tears are falling down, and bit his lower lip so it will look like it's swollen from all the crying.

he took a deep breath before walking towards the door and opening it only to be greeted by jiro barging inside, pushing him to the side, and quickly ran towards chan who's trying his best not to laugh.

❝chan?❞ jiro gripped the covers tight. ❝jesus christ, chan!❞

❝jiro—❞ twenty didn't expect for jiro to actually cry so loud. he now felt bad. ❝he's fine don't worry.❞

❝don't worry!?❞ jiro turned to the short male. ❝he is hospitalized and you are telling me not to worry?!❞

hearing jiro raising his voice at twenty made chan flinch from his place. wait, this wasn't what they were planning. jiro isn't supposed to go and get mad at twenty. now chan was hesitating if he should come out from the covers or stay there until it's finally the right time.

❝you were with him, why did you leave him alone!?❞ now jiro is starting to blame twenty.

twenty doesn't know what on earth jeffrey told jiro but this clearly wasn't part of the plan. ❝excuse me?❞

speaking of jeffrey, where is he? he's supposed to be here and watch jiro cry and chan would get up, giving him the rose and then ask him to be his boyfriend.

❝you are needed to be excused.❞ jiro pointed at the door, ❝i want you to leave! you don't deserve to—❞

❝jiro.❞ a soft voice called out, causing the two of them turn their heads to chan who decided to stop acting like he's dead or what.

jiro moved away from twenty and went to chan and hugged him tight, ❝don't make me worry like that.❞ he pulled away from the hug and then cupped chan's face, ❝where does it hurt? are you okay now?❞

chuckling, chan removed jiro's hand and intertwined their fingers together. ❝i'm fine, i'm not hurt.❞

with his brows furrowed, jiro stood up properly. looking down at chan with a confused look. ❝then why are you here?❞

❝actually,❞ a rose was pulled out shyly under the hospital covers, making jiro widen his eyes. ❝i wanted to—❞

❝no way.❞ he ruffled his hair out of annoyance, ❝chan what are you thinking?!❞

he was mad. mad that chan was making a joke out of this. he was worried as fuck and yet this was just set up. jiro turned around and glared at twenty, guess that he is also part of this.

chan frowned, ❝but jiro—❞

❝don't talk to me.❞ he knows he wasn't supposed to take this seriously but really, he was so worried. he thought something happened to chan but he's just here to surprise him with a fucking rose. jiro can't help but mention all curse words inside his head, again and again.

twenty took a step forward, trying to stop jiro from walking away. ❝hey where are you going?❞

❝none,❞ jiro slapped his hand away from his arms. ❝of your business.❞

and with that, the tall male left. leaving twenty shocked and chan heartbroken. he didn't even got to ask him out and yet he already received a no.

chan gripped the rose tight, ❝please tell me that he wasn't really mad.❞

❝i don't know.❞ twenty sighed, ❝he sure looked really mad to me.❞

moments later, a boat passing by cut the conversation between the two. the boat was no other that jeffrey, he was wearing a cardboard with a shape of a boat and for a moment there twenty wanted to disown him. what is he doing making fun of himself?

❝chan, welcome board to chanro.❞ jeffrey made horn sound from the boat before continuing. ❝where in you will feel love, care and affection by the captain.❞ and made the sounds again.

with chan looking clueless, twenty was there wanting to ask about his boyfriend's existence. but before he could open his mouth to speak, a person came inside the room looking like a captain from the boat with that hat on. just then only twenty realized what is happening. clicking his tongue at jiro, he couldn't believe that he was so scared at this boy a while ago. but he got to admit, jiro did really good in acting. twenty actually believed that he was mad and it looked like chan was dumped. but seems like jiro has plans, jeffrey probably told him about this.

❝jiro? what's this?❞ chan pointed at jeffrey in front of him with his brows furrowed.

a smile was plastered in jiro's face while he reached his hand out. ❝will you be my boyfriend and sail the ship with me?❞
