Moon flew through the trees searching for Winter. The wind whistled through the leaves and  rain forest sounds rand in her ears. Other than the little creatures and the rain pattering on the canopy above, it was quiet. Bird-songs played in the RainWing Village. Moonwatcher's wings ached from the long flight. Beautiful flowers and colors flowed through the vast area. A small cottage made of bamboo and leaves sat on a sturdy platform, close to the royal tree-house. 

"Winter?" She called. A strong IceWing stuck his head out of the door and gave her an icy smile. His sleek, pure white scales clashed with the all the colors of the  large hut. Winter walked over to her and signaled her to come inside.

"Let's go fly!" He said determined. She smiled wide, even though her wings hurt she couldn't say no to Winter.

Moon flipped open her aching wings and dove for the side of the platform. Winter reared up and flew beside her, flapping his wings to stay aloft beside her. In the past months the rain forest grew on him and he got pretty good at flying and diving out of the way of trees and other creatures. Even the sloths grew on him. They had a white and silver sloth in their hut named Snowfall.

The sun shined through the green canopy above. Winter and Moon landed by a small river that water was a bright blue.  He spun around and stood in the light, partially blinding Moonwatcher. Winter's ears perked up and he suddenly stepped in front of Moon. She stood behind him and tried to listen but there was only the fuzz from Winter's head but she heard a small whisper that was cooler than Winter's. His bulk shoulders squared and his black, menacing eyes darted from bush to bush. He hissed loudly and pounced onto a large leafy bush.

Glints of white shimmered in the bush as Winter fought with the greenery. Three IceWings stumbled out bleeding from small scratches. They tackled Moon and Winter jumped up again. throwing the dragons off her. Moon panted and threw herself on top of one of the IceWings.

Winter stood up quickly, pinning down one of the dragons, "Stop, now, it is me you want leave her alone! Take me to where ever you going and take me! I don't know how you found me or what you want to do with me but leave Moon alone." He curled his claws fiercely as another IceWing jumped on top of Winter.

"Winter, no, please Winter! We can get away. You don't need to prove anything to me!" She cried as Winter's SkyFire was ripped from his wrist. Her eyes were on the brink of tears and she reached for him but he pushed her away into the forest with brute strength and force. Instinctively Moon's wings flew open and she jumped into the air flying, far, far away into the forest. Winter was gone. She had to be there for his egg. Their future dragonets.

Oh My Gosh! They had eggs! What do you think their genders will be? They have one and then maybe a couple more!!!!
