I woke up to mumbling and faint beeping sounds ringing in my ears. Great im dead and I couldn't even go to prom.

"If you die ima kill you." I hear a choked voice that sounded like Malaya. "If you dont shut up-" I think that was Cammy.

I felt a hard burning sensation against my leg and I jumped up in pain. "Well the slap worked."

I looked up and saw Ty without his glasses which was a new sight. "Hey guys..." I scanned the room and saw everyone except for my mom, Corey, and Taliyah. London and Taylor were even here.

"Lil bit! You hear me?!" Ty waves his hand in my face. I sit up and took a couple deep breaths. "Where's mom? Did you know she was still alive?" I ask Ty.

"No I aint know she was still alive and she is resting. She got shot in her back and they found the bullet real close to her belly button. It damaged her ovaries so she cant have anymore kids. Not like she need anymore." he mumbled the last part.

"And Corey?" I ask.

"*Clears throat* Yall some pussies. He got shot in the back of his head with 50 mm bullet." Romeo says.

Tears well up in my eyes and I let them fall. "*sniff* so he's dead?"

They nod.

"But, what about Taylor?!" I ask.

"Her grandmother is signing Corey's death certificate. And she's going to bring Taylor back with her to California. His aunt." Jakiyah says and rubs her stomach.

I look down and sob a bit and eveyone hugs me and rubs my back. The fact that Corey wasn't even a thug and he died like thugs die, made my heart clench.

Because he came and saved me.

A doctor comes in and closes the door. "Wow, Ms. Church you have some busy parents." the man smiles. Ty scoffs and bounces London on his knee.

"We apologize dearly, for the loss of your comrade, and we weren't able to save either babies." he says.

I look at him with a wtf face.

"What do you mean both babies?" I ask.

"Well, during surgery we found a baby corpse in your mother's womb and we found a still born inside of you during x-rays. We removed it and saw the placenta wqs torn terribly and the baby had massive head injuries."

I find this moment bitter-sweet. I wont be a teen mom, but my baby is gone and couldn't even see the lights of day.

The doctor leaves and everyone leaves out of the room leaving me in deep thought about all the shit that happen since school started and fucked my life up.
