I always feel weird calling any of the sidemen "man" in fanfictions, like "Vik rolled his eyes, and Simon punched him in the arm, grinning at the younger man's reaction."

To be fair though, I feel just as weird saying "boy" so idk what I'm supposed to do XD

this is why you see me saying things in fanfic like "Vik rolled his eyes, and Simon punched him in the arm, grinning at the younger's tactics." 

is that weird? It feels almost as awkward as using the word "member" XD
