A/N so I'm going to be doing my first one shot in a while. I haven't written anything in a while so sorry if it's a bit weird.

Prompt: After getting paired for a group project, B invites A over to their place to work. A absolutely overreacts, and insists they do it at a library or some other place.
Person A is Josh. Person B is Vik.

Josh's POV

I had been zoned out the whole bell thinking about the football game this weekend. I felt someone elbow me and I looked up to see my friend, Simon. I gave him a confused look and he gave an exasperated sigh. I heard someone clear their throat from the front of the classroom and I winced as I turned towards the teacher. She gave me a sharp look and began speaking, " Now that Mr.Bradley had joined us I'll start assigning your partner for the project." I panicked and turned towards Simon whispering, "What kind of project is it?" He gave me a look before replying, " It's just some stupid science project." I frowned slightly as the teacher began to to walk towards our area of the classroom. She gave me a pointed look before talking," Now as much as I love this little group of friends. I'm gonna have to split you guys up." We all groaned and she just glared at us. " Minter your with Power. Lewis your with Aceti. Payne your with Hughes. Brown your with Arsement. Olatunji your with Latsky. And lastly Bradley your with Barn." We turned to glare at the six boys as they awkwardly walked over to us. They were our enemies after they'd taken the new kid away from us. As they sat next to who they were partnered with I sized up my partner. I was happy to find I had the guy both groups had fought over. The rest of the group gave me a glare as I gave a nice smile to my partner. As I looked at the dude seated in front of me I found my self entranced by him. His eyes were the colour of warm chocolate and his hair the colour of the night sky. With his short structure I considered him cute. He gave me a small smile and seemed more at ease once I gave a grin at him. " Hello there I'm Josh.", I said giving him a small wave. He giggled and replied, " I'm Vik! Nice to meet you." I gave a small look to the boy before saying, " Shall we get started then?" He nodded and we began to work on the project.

We still had tons of work left to do but the bell was about to ring. Vik gave me a smile before turning to me to ask, " Do you want to come over to my house? " I gave him a panicked look think about why he wanted me to come over and yelled out, " NO! " Instantly everyone turned towards me and I blushed turning to Vik and staring at his shocked expression. I sighed, " Maybe we should do it at a public space like the library or something? " He gave me a confused expression before replying with a simple nod. I laughed awkwardly as I watched him practically dive into his bag to find something. He found what he was looking for a scribbled something on a sheet of paper. He handed it to me saying, " Text me. " I blushed. He laughed running to catch up with the Pack as my friends gave me a weird look.

A/N Well that was horrible. I did most of the writing at night. I need to get more used to writing again before it gets decent. Well I've gotten more support then I thought I'd get on this so THANKS! BYE!
