The cafeteria was crowded with so many children talking to each other. All you could hear was everyone's voices seemingly talking all at once. Well everyone except Echo's and Goth's voices. They were sitting there completely silent listening to their friends problems.
"It's just what do you have to say when you find out your boyfriend cheated on you with six girls?" Mistral asked whipping her eyes with her fluffy fingers. She was wearing a pink dress that just went a little bit over her knees showing her bones. Well what little bones she had. Mistral had the both arms from her elbow to her wrist as bone. That was pretty much it. She wasn't like the other kids in the class because of that. Yet, she was still in almost the same skeleton classes as them. Why? She could use all kinds of magic as a skeleton. Which was awesome. Plus she also looked gorgeous as well. That's probably why a lot of people had a crush on her. Other than the fact that she was also kinda popular. Though she didn't always sit with the popular kids. Instead she sat with her first friend she made Echo. Why? No one ever knew. Which probably was for the best.
"A dick?" Daisy asked taking a bite of her sandwich. Mistral giggled at her friends answer. Echo was smiling too. Daisy was sitting at her usual table a while ago with her friends talking about things when Mistral sat down almost in tears. So unlike everyone else they listened to what was wrong. Goth tapped Daisy's shoulder making her turn around. Before she could even ask he pointed to their left. Daisy looked at the table Mistral was sitting at before she came to sit there.
"Man slut." Daisy mumbled watching Mistrals newly ex-boyfriend (since a minute ago) kiss a random girl he was sitting next to. Mistral went to turn around to see what her friends were looking at.
"Wh-" She was cut off by Daisy who said the first thing that crossed her mind so her friend wouldn't turn around.
"Goth likes someone." Daisy blurted out before covering her mouth. Goth's entire face blushed a bright shade of purple. Mistral whipped her head around so fast that her floppy ears hit her face making Echo giggle a bit. She never saw her ex kissing the other girl. The second she pushed the ears out of her face you could see the brightest smile on her face. Finally, the change to match make Goth. She's waited for this moment for since well, forever.
"Oh my god, who?" Mistral asked a hint of excitement in her voice. It seemed as if the break up hadn't just happened a couple minutes ago. Goth put his head face down on the table refusing to look up. Echo giggled a bit watching her friends embarrass him self a bit.
"Do we know her?"Mistral asked. Goth put his head up and shook his blushing face no as fast as he could. He never noticed Daisy nodded her head yes. Mistral let out a happy high pitched shriek. Her eyes were shining with glee.
"Is it Cookie?" She asked. They all looked at Goth. He sighed.
"No." His tiny almost invisible voice stated while he was looking down.
"Daisy? Wait are you and Daisy d-"
"No."
"Echo?"
"Hell nawh." He stated. Echo giggled a bit.
"Well the which g-. Oh. Oh my god."
"What?"
"You're gay and you didn't tell me?"
Goth looked down at his hands ashamed. He looked ashamed that someone knew. Ashamed to be who he was. Ashamed because of what he liked. Tears began to wield up in his eyes making it harder to see out of his good one. Slowly he nodded his head whipping his eye. Mistral's face fell. She quickly leaned over the table giving him a hug.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you sad. It's just I'm so happy that you're trust me enough to tell me this." She smiled. Daisy looked around the room. Surprisingly no one was staring. Or so she thought. On the other end of the cafeteria Paulette was looking at Goth in tears being hugged by one of his friends.
"Yes." Goth sobbed a bit. Mistral patted his back saying 'that it's was okay' over and over again. Soon the hug broke up when Echo dragged Goth to a chair next to Mistral. The second Echo sat back down the old conversation continued.
"So is it Impact?" She joked. Daisy felt her face heat up for a moment. Echo giggled at her friend.
"No." Goths sniffed into his friend's dress.
"Trajan?"
"Nope."
"Calibri?"
"No."
"James?"
"No."
"Oh god. It's Paulette isn't it?" Mistral asked. Goth buried his blushing face in his hands. Very slowly he did a nodding action. Mistral let out another high pitch noise. Her eyes were full of so much happiness. Echo didn't think she ever saw Mistral so excited before. Okay so her birthday she was also as hyped as she was now. Then when she found out they were going to be in the same class last year. Also when she found out that Echo liked someone all the way back in fourth grade. So maybe she was this excited a lot but, this time it seemed like she was going to explode from excitement. Mistral grabbed onto her friend's shoulders and began shaking him. Slowly Echo dug out her phone. She recorded the shaking incident for PJ but, made sure that no could heard anything. Once she stopped recording them Daisy spoke up.
"Woman why are you shaking the poor boy?" Daisy asked.
"I know a thing." She said letting go of her friend looking at the others with glee. What? What thing?
"What do you know?" Daisy asked.
"Don't say I told you guys okay?" Mistral whispered.
"Okay. Continue woman. The suspense is gonna kill us." Daisy joked.
"Paulette came out as Bisexual a week ago."
"Which means?"
"Duh. He likes both gende-"
"We know that. Just what's that mean for him?"
"He has a chance. He has a chance to date him."
"You're joking."
"Do you think I'd joke about something as serous as this?"
Goth turned around looking at Paulette. Paulette was smiling while talking to his friends. The kind of smile that would make heart stop. Soon he heard Paulette's laugh. Yet, unless you were listening for it you wouldn't be able to hear it. That's when Paulette meet Goth's eyes. Goth's heart seemed to speed up. Paulette let out the biggest smile and waved at him. Of course Goth retuned the wave before turning back around. Goth smiled. He had a chance.
