Chapter Five
The Alpha was the impartial judge of the pack. She had watched countless children grow and flower, blessed with immortality. All alphas were, it was a gift received with the title. Fleck hoped that she would rule against the Beta. He fiddled nervously with his hands as he sat on the dumpy black fake-leather couch. To distract himself, he looked around the room. The walls were painted a calming tint of mint green. There was a mahogany table in front of him, worn and covered in carvings depicting war and victory. Fleck was not fond of that table, preferring his music box carved with small prey animals. He looked at the tall-backed chair across the table. It was a faded cream, studded with brass. There were two windows on either side, lengthy rectangles that spilled forth light from their breast. It appeared to be mid-day. Fleck stared down at the dark green carpet.
"What did you tell her?!" The Beta shouted as he threw open the door. Fleck flinched and fell on his back, hoping that the Beta would be appeased by the unusual show of submission. The Beta made his way to the couch, and started laughing at him. He then sat on Fleck's belly. Fleck bared his neck, trembling. Two hands wrapped around his neck, applying slight pressure. Fleck gasped, but arched into the Beta's rough hands.
"Filthy slut." The Beta's eyes gleamed, betraying how much he really enjoyed Fleck's submission. Fleck felt tears prick at his eyes. He didn't want this. All he wanted was to get on the Beta's good side, so that he left him alone. Fleck heard footsteps and sighed as the Beta released his neck. (BOI YOU THOUGHT) A few moments later, the Alpha strode into the room and glanced at them.
"Beta? Why are you sitting on Fleck?"
"Fleck showed me his belly."
"So, you sat on him?"
"Yes....?" The Alpha sighed at her Beta's response.
"Beta, tell me your side of the story."
