Skypaw was pacing. Again.

Cinderheart had woken up from a nap and ordered MoonClan to their camp. They were not to come out until she said so.

Bumblestripe had kicked Skypaw out of the den, telling her he didn't want his kits cursed.

And now she was waiting.

Finally,finally, Jayfeather, Leafpool, Alderheart, and Bumblestripe came out of the nursery. Skypaw slipped in behind them. 

Cinderheart's eyes found her daughter instantly. "Shh. They're sleeping," she whispered, gesturing towards Rosepetal. Two kits slept at her belly-one dark brown, one ginger. 

"Do they have names?"

"The ginger one is Flamekit, and the brown one is Toadkit."

"After Toadstep?"

Cinderheart nodded. 

"After Toadstep."
