Chapter 1: Earth!
It's been almost 5 suns and I still haven't landed on a planet. She sighed. I'm almost out of food. She looked out the window. The stars twinkled in the empty space, creating unique patterns as they came in and out of sight. But then she saw it, a planet! It was still too far away, but it was hope for a new life. She hadn't seen a planet in awhile, and this one looked promising. She yelped with delight. Next sleep will be great!
She woke with a start. Her pod was gently rocking back and forth. She looked out of the window. A blanket of water covered the planet's surface. Oh no! I'm trapped in water! She started breathing fast, and then passed out. The water lapped at her pod as it kept drifting.
Muffled voices filled her ears. "W-who's there??" Her voice came out in helpless gasps. She sat up straight, peering out of the window she saw 2 cats and some sort of mixed cat, half cat, half bird. The first cat was a short white tabby with green eyes, and a bow around their waist. The second was a bushy tan coloured tabby with a flash of white on their chest and green eyes, and what seemed like a sword. The third was a black sleek cat with purple eyes and wings. The tan cat knocked on the window. Their muffled voice sounded like a tom, he said, "Open up." The tom seemed angry as his fur fluffed up. The black cat placed their tail on the tom's shoulder, which seemed to calm him down as he looked at them. She assumed the black cat was a she-cat, as the way the tom looked at her. The third cat, the white tabby, looked nervous. They seemed like someone who showed their feelings.
"Umm.. guys, I think we should just talk to them." The white tabby suggested. Definitely a she-cat. She started to tear up the grass.
"I think Ivy's right." The black cat meowed. Looking over at Ivy then back at the pod. She got up and started talking to her.
"Honey, do you know how to open the pod?" She meowed. She looked around, she saw a red lever implanted in the pod's base. It had symbols that could only mean "PULL". So she pulled it. The door clicked and fell down, the three cats jumped back. The cool air blasted her in the face. Fresh air! She tripped over the entrance and landed on her face. She felt herself go hot with embarrassment. "Are you alright?" The black she-cat laughed. "I'm Obsidian. What's your name, hun?" She didn't know what her name was. All she had were a few remnants of her past, such as notes that she couldn't read. She shook herself and got up.
"Umm, I'm not sure." She meowed. They looked confused. Obsidian shook herself.
"Well," Obsidian looked over at the other cats. "I think our guest would like to know your names." The tan tabby spoke first.
"My name is Noodles." His face turned bright red. "Don't ask." She stifled a laugh. Ivy stepped in front of him.
"My name is Ivy, but you probably overheard us.." She trailed off and just stared at her eyes. Ivy shook herself. "Sorry, but you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. They're like chips of ice." She was right next to her face now, and she must have realized. "O-oh sorry." She recoiled back. Obsidian was observing some notes and papers that fell from the pod. She looked up at her.
"It says here that your name is Taya." She meowed. Taya couldn't read so she wouldn't know what any of the strange notes said. "So, Taya, would you like to join our group?"

She knows """English""" because all cats talk the same, it's just the writing that's different.
