My room soon was crowded with people, I was led outside by the police as they searched the crime scene and told me not to go far away. Jamie pressed me against his chest and used  his hand to rub my upper arm slowly moving upwards and downwards in a soothing way. I could hear everything but I couldn't say anything. I couldn't move my mouth neither was I able to think of something else. My imaginations were just so sharp and vivid and soon I was crying again. Jamie out his coat around me as the rest of them completed the circle, all eyes on me but one had a piercing burn on my face and I met the eyes. Trijan was looking, he was watching more like studying. It was like I could hear him asking if I was ok?

"Excuse me, I don't mean to bother you guys but which of you was booked in that room?" An average height sergeant with his hands clipped on his belt like he was about to pull it up asked

I pushed myself out of Jamie's chest and met his gaze and he nodded eyeing me a little like he should have guessed I was the one. "Please come with me" he said and I follwed him away from the others

"First of all, I would like to apologize for the state the whole incident has put you in, I hope you would make it out perfectly fine soon" I opened my mouth was out of words so I just nodded instead "but however since you are a initial witness to the scene and it is also your hotel room, we would like you to come down to the station and give a statement or would you rather have it happen here since you are not completely out of shock"

"Anywhere is fine officer" I managed to say it out "I just want to get this over with and done."

He nodded "I understand but I must tell you that you cannot leave the city for the next 24hrs"

"Why?!" I asked stunned because that's exactly what I wanted to do leave the city and go back home. I wanted to leave Hawaii and just go back home. I could feel the tears sting my eyes again but I wiped it off with the back of my palms, he stretched an arm and patted me softly

"You see, you may be innocent but you are also a suspect till proven innocent so we just have to keep you within reach" he explained and in agreement, I snuffed understanding where he was coming from.

"What did he say?" Trijan asked immediately I joined them

"He said I can't leave here till 24hrs" I said mildly as I regained my position in Jamie's chest

"But we have to leave here, our flight is in an hour" Denise voiced out

"Then I guess you guy would go without me" i said

"I'll stay with you" Jamie said lifting my face so I was looking at him, I couldn't help but smile at him even though it wasn't all happy

"Su-"

"He can't" Trijan interrupted me gaining all our attention with the common question 'why not?' Expressed on our faces "Because he won't be able to book the flight back to Honolulu" we still stared at him blankly "look my father has some sort of leverage here in Hawaii and whether we like it or not, I could use that resource to help her out of any situation they may put her in. The cops here aren't the same in the other states so right now connections is all we need" I couldn't get his point really but the others seemed to understand and instead of Jamie, Trijan ended up staying. Soon, a body bag I knew contained Jane's body was carried passed us and I started crying again for some reason, I couldn't stop crying and kept wondering if Ethan knew about it.

"You'll be fine love" he said as he left the building "just stay strong for me" Jamie spoke as he cupped my face in his palms and missed my forehead before leaving. I sat on one of the seats with his coat on me and
Trijan gone.

I didn't know what to say or do as I sat there alone as the hums of people and clicks of footsteps revolved around me. A unfamiliar rhythm played from a violin laced the busy world me. It rhymed with the siren and i could tell not everyone knew what had happened "Your mom wants to speak to you" Trijan held his phone out to me and i hesitated for a second before collecting and breathing out

"Mom?"

"Oh my goodness! Ivy darling how are you?"

"I'm fine mom"

"I heard what happened and Trijan had assured me he would take care the whole thing" I looked up at him before looking somewhere else "he said he would handle you and the police my darling are you sure you are ok ? I'm worried sick about you and beginning to think it was a bad idea after all" I rolled my eyes

"I'm fine mom"

"No no, I'll tell Mr. Bran to give you your documents and phone so you can finally come home ok?" I heaved a sigh of relief

"Thank you mom" I greeted

"Its ok darling, I'm so sorry my love. I can't wait to see you including Maya" I smiled

"I miss you too including Maya" the smile still posed on my face as I gave the phone back to Trijan.

"Thank you" I told him and he just smiled.

"You need to rest now, it's been a long day and there's another room available for you so you can stay there for the night". He held me up and led me to another room twice as large as my previous room but it wasn't empty, I could see his stuff on the dressing table and his scent filled the room and it has a twin bed and I figured Denise probably stayed her before. I sat on the one by the window with the brown satin bedspread, my mind was too clogged and I needed to release it and just meditate, I needed to swim.

I always carry my swim suit but i would have to go to my room to get it but I doubted the police would let me in a crime scene.

''You ok?!'' Trijan asked worry splattered on his face, I nodded.

'' I just feel the urge to swim, it was my therapy'' I explained '' my swim suit is in my room and i can't go there so I guess I'll just have to wait''

He nodded multiple times as if he got the explanation 'I'm sorry about it would you like to eat something?''

I wasn't feeling particularly hungry but I hadn't eaten well and a rubbling sound erupted from my tummy which caught trijan's attention and made his lips spread into a smile ''i'll take that as a yes". I knew I didn't have much strength to argue so I let him go anyway. He strolled over to the landline on the desk and lifted the receiver to his right ear. I dropped on the bed and just zoomed out of reality.

The food came in less than ten minutes and I found myself eating the same rice and meat soup and crabs. It tasted nice but my mood soured the taste and after that I just laid on the bed and rested my head. The tension in the room dropped a blanket of silence over us and I appreciated that gift.

Suddenly I couldn't sense Trijan in the room anymore. Infact the room was pitch black, who turned off the light? I slowly sat up as I heard stuffed mumbling and grunting. I gulped an invisible lump down my throat and carefully made my way to the light switch. I didn't really know where it would be but I had a suspicion and when I got to the switch, I flicked it on. I suddenly regretted turning it on as I stood opposite a man who was on complete black. He had a mask on and no trace of his skin appeared, he stood with his legs apart and a wide knife stood firm in his hands. His gaze was fixed on me and it creeped on my skin and just on impulse he launched at me, I dodge and jumped right on the bed. He came at me again but I escaped and ran to the nearest door which was the bathroom. I pushed the heavy door and clicked the lock just as he pounded on it. He fondled with the locks but the door didn't move but I knew if he kept pounding the door would come off. My legs suddenly felt cool as water touched it but it was red. Why was the water red? I turned around and saw Jane the exact same way I see her today, didn't they carry her away? Why was she here? I was going back away from her but I was thrown off balance after slipping then it happened he broke the door open and I met with his eyes again, he was angry. I crawled on my butt backwards trying to get away from him but he kept walking towards me flaunting the knife and that's when I let it out the scream I've been building up in me but it didn't scare him instead he rushed towards me an-

My eyes opened as I jerked up from my sleeping position. My body was damp with sweat rolling down my face and neck. The room was illuminated and trijan laid on the other bed asleep. I rolled the blanket I don't remember using off me and climbed down the bed. I was still in my party dress and I didn't care how I looked as I opened the door slightly and exited the room looking like a mess on barefeet. I needed to swim.
