I'm sorry for the late updates... I'm back to college now and it hasn't been all rosy

I was kept in suspence as I didn't know what lizzy would say, since she saw me and Trijan she hasn't said a word to me. She kept looking at me nodding when I catch her watching then she would look away.

I still didn't know what happened last night But it was the least of my worries, i was paranoid with what she'll say or do and the fact that she was silent about on the boat made me more anxious. She saw me in a compromising position with her engaged son she might probably see me as a flirt or something out of it but it was our last day here on the island so i could care less.

As the boat landed in the shores of Kauai. I gasped at how amazing it looked forgetting my worries and all. The village chief was in front of a whole multitude of people. The coconut trees swung from the wind and the air smelt pure and clear even the sun's heat was beautiful.

Joan squealed as two cute kids brought white flowered leis towards us, we bent over so that they would put around our necks. The chubby white one who have me a lei has cute big cheeks and her eyes glistened and danced as she looked at me "Nani kókī"

I looked at her in utter confusion "huh??" She giggled as Jeremy crept behind her interpreting what she said

"She said you are extremely beautiful" I blushed mouthing an awwww " I totally agree with her"

"Thank you so much emm" I realized I didn't know her name "what's your name cutie?"

"Kaleen" she spoke voice as light as hair and tiny as a cartoon. I laughed

"Thank you so much kaleen" I said pinching her cheeks lightly and she grinned exposing her incomplete set of teeth, she was so cute that I pulled her into a big.

She pulled me forward as the others moved to where a place was beautifully decorated. I took a seat by Jeremy and Joan while kaleen sat on my thighs.

The show began as a bunch of kids in grass skirt and seashell bras with floral leis on their heads and necks started dancing. I admired how flexible thet were as they danced to the tunes from the ukulele and the drums kaleen called Pahu.

After them was the adult version of the hula. They titled it hokeo. They had male dancers and chanters this time and the beats from the pahu was slower. I watched as they told the story of a man who loved a woman secretly for years till she grew and when he tried to marry her, she was given away to someone else who got her killed.

At the end of the hula, my eyes rested on Trojan who looked lost as he sat opposite us after the stage. He looked lost and his eyes shifted they fell on me and relaxed. His blue gaze pierced in mine as time went. I wondered while he was looking at me why he was looking at me. Something about the intensity of his gaze melted me, I felt like a prey and broke out of it when his mom looked at me.

I sat up with kaleen still on my seats but his behind her head. I patted her hair as she and Jeremy talked in mostly Hawaiian language and realized he was good with children especially kaleen. Some of the words he pronounced made me laugh at his funny pronunciations.
I glanced at Trijan a few times but all he gave me was a frown and he looked away.

After all the celebrations we were about to leave the shores when kaleen began to cry. She clunged to my leg and Wept so softly my heart melted. I carried the little girl up and she straddled me making me melt more. I asked Jeremy to take a picture and he did. I promised kaleen to come back for her as others boarded the ship.

'A hui hou' she shouted as her mom carried her both waving at me.

I waved back shouting as the boat moved "a hui hou" unsure if what I shouted was correct. My eyes peppered as the tear dropped from my eyes, kaleen was so lovable and missable.

I cleaned my eyes and turned around to see Trijan's mom staring at me I swallowed as she spoke "Hey Ivy, can we talk?"
