Chapter Four

Our drinks were served on the counter in one of the moments in which Yixing and me held our eye contact for a little longer than needed, or usual. His were like a kaleidoscope that showed all kinds of shapes, patterns and mixed colors and projected them onto my own. Mine were placidly following the movements of his own as he eyed my face and the defined edges and curves of my neck that his eyes devoured.

My lips were crawling all over my body with the desire to say something, yet I kept silent and waited until his hands reached out to enclose both of the glasses beside us in his big hands.

"You coming?" He rose one of his eyebrows, finally tearing his sinful stare from my body. I hadn't even noticed that, all throughout the last moments, I had been holding my breath until I parted my lips and let the desired oxygen saturate my body.

I shook my head momentarily, pushing myself off the chair I had been leaning against for support, mental and physical that is. "Sure, let's go, the others are already waiting." Even though I felt slight nervousness, my voice was rather calm in comparison to the many times my vocal chords had trembled underneath his vision.

He held both of the glasses in his hands and looked around the bar helplessly, his seductive manner from just a second ago seemed to have vanished into oblivion.
"Do you know where they are?" His eyes were widened and his mouth opened.

I pointed towards the direction I had previously found our friends and colleagues, and he gladly thanked me with a nod of his head before striving towards them. I looked over my shoulder to focus my eyes on the guy still working behind the bar, he shot me a wink, raised the glass in his hands into the air and smirked towards Yixing's directions who had already left.

Xiumin must have noticed too, considering I never spoke to any males except my own friends at this bar.

Before I could hear even one of his mischievous remarks I had already turned around to join Yixing on the way to our table, almost bumping into his behind as he decreased his speed while coming closer to the table.

"Oh, you found Yixing!" Yura was the first to speak- predictably- when her eyes fell upon said man and me to his right. Her voice adapted a high pitch as she eyed him all giggly, earning a frank roll of the eyes by Jongin who I could sympathize with particularly.

Lisa turned her head to look at the two of us, smiling as Yixing greeted everyone who was sat at the table. During our small incident at the bar two people have joined the round, namely Kyungsoo who was one of Junmyeon's and mine closest, mutual friends and also Krystal. Earlier in the office Lisa had told me of her and Jongin's relationship which was quite a secret in the office, even though Junmyeon saw nothing severe in cases like these.

"Jiye!" Kyungsoo almost shot up from his seat as his eyes found mine, which made me smile widely at him and take a step forward to where he was seated.

He embraced me warmly into his arms, patting my shoulders as I wrapped my arms around his in response. "Squish, I haven't seen you in so long!"

Junmyeon laughed upon hearing my overused endearment for our friends. "You're still calling him squish?"

Kyungsoo, Lisa and me have known each other since our early middle school days, meaning a close relationship between the three of us. When Lisa and Junymeon became a couple a few years back, he joined our small but genuine group and instantly became accustomed to all of us.

Kyungsoo slightly blushed as our arms gradually loosened around each other, Yixing was curiously eyeing him as he sat down on his previous spot again. He was sat on the right side of the small sofa I had placed my things on before I left.

"Oh Yixing, there's no way you know Kyungsoo, I forgot." Lisa looked at him with a small smile, her eyes switching between the two men whom she introduced to each other briefly as we all sat down. The two of them were seated next to each other in the small sofa, while I was sitting on its edge right next to Yixing— my palpitation had already increased before I placed my butt on the actual material, slightly brushing his thigh in the process.

"Hi Krystal." I gave the girl on my opposite side a small wave and even smile, which she gladly returned while sitting close to her boyfriend. "I'm glad you could make it after all."

She coughed, her eyes swiping over to Yura who was in a heated conversation with Chanyeol. "You know, being an assistant of someone isn't easy."

I pitied her, a lot.

"But it's certainly not the worst, right Jiye?" Yixing, who had been listening to our small exchange of words, slowly leaned closer over the table with a slight smirk dancing at the corner of his pink lips. "You can be honest." He added, with a short laughed that erupted from the pit of his stomach.

I repeated my actions from a few minutes ago, leaning my cheek against my palm as my eyes alternated from gaping at him and her with short breaks. I let out a content sigh, my eyes ultimately remaining on Krystal. "If you had become Yixing's assistant you certainly wouldn't have said that. I'm not complaining."

My words earned me an even more evident smirk on Yixing face which even Krystal noticed as she let out an amused chuckle, leaning back in her chair and closer to Jongin. "Lucky you."

"Come on, you like your job." Jongin's gaze fell upon her as he tilted his head, studying her face from above. His frame towered a little over hers even if seated in chairs, and he tugged a strand of hair behind her gently with a smile just as sweet.

"I'm glad you like your job as well." I had been snapped out of my trance of adoring the couple in front of my eyes when Yixing's words sounded in my ears only a few seconds after the other man's statement. I tilted my head to his, detecting his parted lips as if he wanted to continue to vocalize his train of thought. He neared his lips to my ear, the music and noise of conversation were drowning out words easily, and spoke slowly.
"If we get along well our days will surely pass by more comfortably, right?"

I shivered awhile as I felt his hot breath mix with the cold that hovered over my pale face, the feeling could have been of no importance yet it was so momentous that I wanted it to last for a life time. However, as I turned my head to looks into his eyes properly, it faded in a matter of a second.

I plastered a somewhat content smile on my face to stress my approval. "Right."

I quickly got hold of my drink and dragged it over the table so it was right underneath my face, and wrapped my lips hastily around the thick straw to suck on it. He watched my movements as the strong taste of alcohol and sugary, sour hint pleased my mouth, resulting in my eyes closing in satisfactions for a moment.

"Is it good? Should I drink it?" Yixing mimicked my actions and dragged his glass towards himself.

"You got a cocktail?" Yura's shrill voice filled the momentary silence, disbelief and amusement accompanying her words. "Isn't that for girls? Oh Yixing, how adorable!"

Seriously, words could not describe how much I hated her voice. Especially now in the presence of Yixing and Kyungsoo, whom she didn't know, it adapted an even more annoying and disturbing pitch.

"Oh is it?" He extended his tongue towards the straw, before his lips lusciously wrapped around the plastic in a agonizing manner. He sipped, then sighed. "I must be a girl then, probably the reason why Jiye and me got along so well!"

One could clearly see it; the pinch of jealously that glinted in her narrowed eyes as Yixing coolly draped his free arm around my shoulder. I laughed shyly and looked into my drink, stirring the ingredients with the plastic.

Chanyeol's mouth left a loud laughter, which resulted in a sheer cascade of laughter of every single person at our table. One statement resulted thousand reactions of the same kind, the only person clearly missing out on the fun was Yura herself. Of course she laughed along, but despite all her effort it seemed simpered and artificial as he angrily enclosed the stem of her wine glass.

Classy ladies drank white or red wine, wild girls drank colorful and sweet cocktails— in all honesty she was not even near the first expression, whereas even I fitted the ferocious image of a lunatic drunk teenager with a cocktail more than she could ever adapt to hers. Of course it were all clichés, but who said I did not like them?

The following minutes and moments in our small circle passed with similar laughs and jokes, something that was rarely seen in the office as far as I was concerned. Everyone was calm with Junmyeon even if it was their employer, which kept a nice and open atmosphere among us. Secrets emerged, work was mentioned, plans were listed, people became more drunk with every gulp on their drink.

"Should I get you another?" Yixing clinked my second emptied glass with his, where a little bit of liquid was still left, before he gulped it down in one go. My eyes widened as I left out a chuckle, my senses were surely hazed by the amount of alcohol that had entered my system in the last hours.

I shook my head vigorously, earning a pout from him in return.

"Come on Jiye!" He slammed his glass onto the surface of the table, leaning closer and strengthening his pout. "One more drink with your best colleague~"

I slightly pushed him away by his shoulder, our bodily contact seemed mere and natural at this level of intoxication. "Oh no mister, I am done for the night. With alcohol I mean." I added a laugh at the end of my sentence, which was not caused by the content of my words but the extended content list of my blood tonight.

Everyone was engrossed in their own conversation— Yura was almost crying on Kyungsoo's and Chanyeol's shoulders, Jongin and Krystal were making out who knows where, Junmyeon and Lisa were flirting hotly, which left me and Yixing on our own.

He placed his hand flat on my knee as my torso was facing his, cupping it slightly where my jeans were torn and revealed a slight bit of soft skin. He seemed to have snapped out of a trance, I observed the phenomenon when I studied his face cautiously. His eyes instantly softened, his lips turned into a lascivious grin and his fingers grazed firmer against my skin.
"But we're not done yet, hm?" He shortly let his eyes sweep over the others before he cocked his eyebrow at me.
"The night is still young. Any wishes? Suggestions?"

When people get drunk, they get insane and unexplainable ideas. Some flirt, some cheat, some skinny dip, I simply got comfortable around my superior. Perhaps I was a little too comfortable as I leaned forward provocatively, leaning my face closer to his with hidden allure in my voice. My intention initially was to simply mimic him, but as I spoke it turned out way more intense than merely that.

"Is there anything we could do to get to know each other even better before I go home?"

I didn't know if it was a mistake to emphasize my words the way I did. I didn't know what it really made erupt inside of him, and I certainly didn't know what he'd do the second that I voiced them. The only remaining thing I knew were the tens of ideas running through my mind as I blinked at him impatiently as he wetted his lips with the tip of his tongue.

"I don't know?" His eyes fell to seize the red of my lips, before they darted back to my own again. "Maybe we'll find out during our ride home?"

"What?"

"I'm bringing you home, it's dangerous to let a young pretty lady like you walk around outside for even a second." He motioned his head towards the others and placed his hand now higher than before, right on my thigh. "Let's say goodbye and go, shall we?"

I froze instantly as if gaining some bits of my sanity back. "Yixing.."

"I said I'm brining you home, come on." Slight threat lingered in his words, making me oblige immediately and hence I nodded my head hastily to approve of his plam. As he stood up he wrapped his hand carefully around my wrist that was located near the edge of the table. He flicked it up and gently pulled me out of the couch, making me crash against his chest.

I couldn't explain it, all throughout the time we bid our farewell to the others I kept focusing on Yixing, whose behavior kept switching and changing faster than I could keep count. He was sweet and funny, then slightly seducing, eventually started to friendly and giggly inform our friends that he would be bringing me home. He held my wrist permanently and dragged me outside by it, never to harsh but not too soft either, making me tremble in surprise every now and then when the tips of his finger dug harder.

Even when we finally sat in a cab and I had told the driver my address, his mood seemed to adapt a new shape once again. The pattern of his facial features changing fitted into one of the previous ones, and even before he spoke or did anything proper I could already tell that I would soon be drenched and sweating hotly over his sweet, alluring words.

When I got drunk I got weird ideas as well. I started to flirt with Yixing, cheated on my conscience and wit and skinny dipped into his pool of endearments, touches and breath play. Nevertheless, in spite of being aware of these facts I couldn't prevent myself from climbing deeper into them it as time passed by.

"So," He sat right beside me in the backseat of the cab which was secluded by a small partition, lowering his head down to have his face on the same level as mine. The previous smirk appeared on his plump lips— now they were so close to mine like never before. It could have been my mind playing with me but I swore to god almighty that I could feel his hot exhales against my own lips.
"Any new ideas on how you want to get to know me better? We know so much of each other already."

Yeah Yixing, I knew that you were breathtakingly handsome right now, that was about it in that exact moment. I had forgotten everything because it played such little relevance in the moment.

My eyes, previously glued to his lips now wandered up his perfectly sculpted face to lock with his own and it stayed like that for seconds. I felt his hand palpate the surface of the car seat slowly, traveling over my thighs and then down my hip where it curled expertly. I was dumbfounded for a moment and scrunched my eyebrows in confusion while our eye contact remained steady, but my bubble of irritation popped when he unfastened my seatbelt with a small click.

Deeply looking into my eyes the only movement on his body remained his snake like hand that sneaked its way to my hip anew in order to pull the seatbelt off my body slowly. As he was guiding the seatbelt back to its initial place at my side tantalizingly and painfully slow, he purposely brushed his hand along my clothed stomach and almost my chest, if he hadn't let go of the seatbelt in the very last second before it snapped back.

He blinked. "Hop on."

"Excuse me?" I coughed out loud and my eyes doubled in size.

He dipped his head low to take a glimpse of where exactly my waist was located, before looking up again. "I said," His hands got a strong and firm grip on my it, making me gasp in surprise as his fingers tickled me lightly. "Hop. On."
With one swift motions of his hands and arms, my body was lifted into the air at the waist and roughly dropped as I hovered above his lap. My knees landed on each side of his thighs, my legs spread and mouth completely fallen agape and his sudden actions. As simply as he must have taken it, he gifted me with an triumphing smirk that held allure and more if one considered the entire situation.

"Zhang Yixing." My voice had a warning voice as he brought my hands to his shoulders, while his facial expression never changed again. He remained sinisterly sexy and our suggestive position didn't make the spinning in my mind any better, hence I was at loss for any words or actions.

After some seconds of silently staring into each other's faces I slowly let my body slide down the side of his thigh, even if the intimate touch and friction caused entire waves of tingles and goosebumps to cover my body. However, as he comprehended what I was about to do, his hands quickly found their way back to grip my hips badly firm.

"Who said you can leave?" His voice was deeper than the void in my mind upon his next words. "I want a nickname first."

I should have never mentioned squish.
