I AN SO SO SORRY!!!
I kinda maybe just a little forgot about this and then I got notified with comments and was just wtf I haven't updated since Christmas????? I have this part in the works but it's a bit urgh so I don't know what's happening with that. Anyway, since here in SE England we had a mini heatwave (it got up to like 17 degrees 😂) I thought I'd quickly put something together about that. It's short and terrible but oh well. Enjoy x

"I. Am. Dying." Will whined and Nico grinned as he glanced over.
"We could get out at any time but noooo no using powers!" He smiled as Will and the rest of them glared at him.
"Leo was supposed to be back by now what is he doing?" Percy whined. The seven plus Nico and Will had decided to fight the summers heat by going on a trip to the beach. However, the door to the camper van they took had been blocked off by gods knows what and they were stuck. Inside a metal box. In increasingly rising temperatures. Leo had gone out for a toilet break and to get drinks before everyone headed down to he beach. That was two hours ago.
"Where's the water?" Annabeth asked.
"In the cooler. On the front seat." Jason (who had been driving) said. The driver section was shut off from the back of the van and therefore inaccessible.

"This is getting way too hot now." Hazel said before stripping down to her swimming costume. Annabeth and piper glanced at each other before shrugging and doing the same. They all sighed with relief at the slight change in temperature that gave them before slumping against each other once more.
"Good idea." Percy grinned, pulling his shirt off so he was just in his swimming trunks. The rest of the boys promptly followed (even Nico which Will grinned - read drooled - at). They all sighed and slumped backwards.

"I am so thirsty" Will whined another hour later. "What is keeping Leo!?" He complained. They all hummed in agreement, too hot to do anything else. Nico huffed.
"I could still just shadow travel into the front and back us up so we can get out." He commented. Will immediately shook his head.
"Absolutely not. You're still recovering. No powers or you might fade completely. Docto-"
"Doctors orders I know." Nico sighed, "just a suggestion."
"A bad one." Will snarked.

*half an hour later*

"What are you all doing sitting around? There's a beach out there!" Leo crowed, sticking his head through the door.
"Leo!" They all screamed and ran both towards him and past him to get out into the moderately cooler air and closer to where the drinks were.
"Gods I didn't think you'd missed me that much!" Leo laughed, taking a calm sip from his iced drink.
"Where the hell have you been?" Piper yelled, stumbling out behind everyone else,
"We were trapped in there for ages!" She whined.
"What and none of you tried the door?" Leo laughed.
"We did. There was something blocking it." Percy explained.
"The door opens inwards guys." Leo laughed at everyone's annoyed faces.
"It doesn't matter!" Frank grinned.
"We're out now and we still have most of the day to e joy the beach!" He said excitedly and hey all cheered before running off.
"See. No powers required." Will said to Nico.
"Yeah. Yeah. C'mere." He grinned and kissed his boyfriend before walking with him down to the beach, towel and cold drink in hand.
