Invisible

(First series for this book!)

When you need to kill a person quickly and silently, why get your hands dirty? An average sniper can hit a target from 485 yards away. I can hit a headshot from 951 yards away and still hit the next target with the same precision.

Now an assassins best weapon is silence  yet this mission requires a little bit of noise. The red lights flashed as the alarms went off. Katya Volskaya was on my list for treason or some other reason that didn't really matter to me. "Do you have eyes on the target?" I asked Theo my partner who quite frankly didn't give a damn about this mission.

"But the screens are so far away." He complained being lazy. He had set up cameras that stuck to the walls for an advantage.  I sighed in disgust and annoyance. "Okay, okay, I'm looking. Gosh don't have a rack attack Y/n."

"When we get back home I may chop off your dick." I could hear his gulp as he worked. Theo got scared easily which is how he ended up working for me. I watched the opening yet a flicker of purple caught my eye. A sniper was like an artist we notice the smallest of changes in the detail of our surroundings.

I had been close but not close enough for guards to detect me. Soldiers were around as well after the recent attack on Katya. I listened like I was trained to do. Remember Y/n the greatest predator is the one you can not see. Then quiet footsteps so silent you could miss them easily. The a person tackled me we some somersaulted backwards a few times before they were on top. It was a woman with hardware all over her body except for her face. She looked Mexican which was strange since I was in Russia but I'm not judging. She had brown had that faded into purple and don't get me started on that color because it was everywhere.

"Who are you?" She asked raising an eyebrow. It was a common question when it came to me. No one could find records about me or Theo, to the system we don't even exist.

"Could ask you the same thing." She chuckled at my response.

"Oh I like you. You are so much more interesting than Katya and very pretty." She brushed the complement off turning the tables around so I was on top pinning her shoulders down. "That's not very nice."

"Well you'll figure out that I'm not a nice girl." I quickly pieced together how she snuck up behind me. She had some sort of cloaking mechanism. Hah two can play that game.  "Till next time." Pushing her away I ran down the stairs scaring guards but by the time they looked at me I was as invisible as a ghost.
