We were driving home from shopping, listening to music on the radio and suddenly Nat said,

"Do you love me?"

I said, "More than you know. I s something bothering you?"

"Well, I'm too old to find somebody else."

I laughed. "I didn't know you were looking."

"Well, I wasn't... really. I hoped I wouldn't have to."

I nearly crashed into the underpass.
