after a while, you only loved the way she whimpered your name in a shadow engulfed bedroom. the way her swollen lips pleaded for more, how her hands reached for your hair or your dark navy sheets as her back arched like a crescent moon. the thick, panted breaths filling up the silence surrounding the two of you. 
when you left her crying at your doorstep, you forgot to tell her how many i love you's were lies, how many lazy hugs meant nothing, how you only found your heart beating in sync with her's when you found your tongue being the one at cause of her screaming.
