xlviii.
̶ ̶ xlviii. SERENDIPITY.
i want to feel your words on my skin like black ink that doesn't wash away. effortlessly but with purpose, tell me the stories your spine carries along with the universe and how saturn got its band and pluto never got washed away. read me your poetry that bleeds heartbreak and recovery and pain and forgiveness. sing me your favorite lines from forgotten songs and take me places that your mind travels to alone.
take your hands in a poorly lit hotel room and trace the outline of my body with your soft whispers of how good my love feels. make me smile in complete silence. force me to indulge in the spaces between the poems you write about me. cause me to crave more even when there is nothing left to say.
leave yourself in my veins and the hate of the world on my back.
i'll carry the burden that you don't deserve.
