How everywhere was damn quiet was no longer surprising to me but this morning it looked somehow eerie as I dumped the refuse in the bin. Opening the gate to step back into the house, what greeted me made me scream my lungs out.

"Are you okay?" Tise questioned even though he was trying to suppress his laughter which escaped his mouth. It was my first time seeing him laugh heartily and I must say he looked way better.

I shook my head as I stared at the big white dog in front of me, it moved closer and wagged his tails while I tried so hard not to run or even faint. I hated dogs.

Tise was quick to notice it so he just called the dog by whichever name I didn't allow register in my brain and held it by its chain.

"I didn't know you were scared of dogs,"he said while I steadied my breath.

"And I didn't know we had a dog in this house," I countered and he chuckled.

"Two actually," he elaborated and my eyes widened.

"What! How come I didn't know?"

He shrugged.

"Please, can you return the dog to its cage, I need to get back into the house," I told him while he glanced at the dog.

"Nope, we are going for a walk," he took a step forward with the dog while I took three steps back.

Tise chuckled at my reaction before closing the gate.

"Why did you close the gate?" I queried while moving back as he moved forward, just what on earth is wrong with this guy? Why did I have to come in contact with him and a dog so early in the morning?

"Be careful, why are you walking with your back?"

"Why are you walking towards me with that dog? Just take a look at the way its staring at me," I almost shouted and he cackled.

"We are taking a walk."

"Who and who?" I missed my steps and instead of Tise to steady me, the dog ran towards me and I fell to the ground.

"Are you alright?" Tise queried amidst laughter as he took the dog away from me while I glared at him. Getting on my feet, I decided to head back into the house but he stopped me.

"Where are you going?"

"Where else?"

He wanted to talk but a sweet voice called his name, we both turned to the direction of the voice and my eyes met with a light-skinned lady that looked familiar dressed in a black jeggings and sports bra.

"Amara," Tise called and that made me remember where I'd seen her, she was Tise's friend who came to the house weeks back.

"Hi," she waved at me without waiting for my response as she bent down to ruffle the dog's furs.

"Are you taking a walk?" She asked when she got back on her feet and Tise bobbed his head.

"I am too, let's walk together," she proposed.

Tise glanced at me and I walked away but I heard him agree to her, I turned back only to see them walking away with the dog and conversing.

It was apparent Kike decided to gym because she had someone she was trying to seduce at the gym. Walking into the gymnasium, my suspicion was confirmed when I saw her flirting with Gbohunmi.

"Kike," I called while approaching her but my sister pretended as if she didn't hear me. I shook my head before calling her what she wanted.

She got down from the treadmill and smiled at me, "You're here."

"Of course," I responded before pointing the bag with me to her and her smile increased. She'd called me earlier to bring her breakfast that she was dying not knowing she was gyming and flirting.

"That's my sister, Kanyinsola," she introduced me to Gbohunmi who smiled at me. It was my first time seeing him up close and I wouldn't deny the fact that he was handsome, the male version of Gbemi, no wonder Kike was falling for him, it showed in her face that it was more than the money. Maybe she'd finally decided to think her life through and add meaning to it.

"My sister is a great cook, do you mind joining me?" She turned to Gbohunmi who smiled.

"I would have love to but I need to get to work."

"Oh, see you later then," she waved at him before he walked out of the gym while I erupted into laughter.

"Did they possess you?" Kike glared at me while I shook my head.

"I can't believe you're actually falling for a guy."

"I'm not falling for him," she denied while I chuckled.

"That's how you'll be saying."

"Abeg shut up and let's go," she eyed me before heading out while I followed suit.

I kept on teasing her till we got to her place which was very close to the gym. After she had a shower, she rushed the meal like a hungry wolf which gave me the liberty to insult her.

Immediately she finished the meal, we had a ding from her door and she made me answer the door. There was a middle-aged man that was probably in his sixties standing at the entrance with a huge smile on his face.

"Good morning sir," I greeted and he nodded, he wanted to talk but Kike's voice beat him to it.

"Babe, is that you?"

"Yes," the man responded before stepping into the house while I closed it.

Kike jumped on him and the sight almost made me puke, I picked up my belongings and baded her bye without waiting for her to respond. The sight was just too irritating to me. I wonder why she was still with the man when she seemed to like Gbohunmi but Kike was just unpredictable though.

As soon as I stepped into the house, my eyes met with Karen who was taking videos. I wonder why she was still at home on a Monday morning for that matter.

I headed towards the kitchen which also led to the servant's quarters but Karen's voice stopped me.

"Hey," she shouted and I turned back while wondering why she had to shout.

"Did you realize you just disrupted my video?" She glared at me and I pursed my lips.

"How?"

She got on her feet with fury burning in her eyes. Is something wrong with this girl?

"Are you asking me that? Why didn't you just stay glued to the door? Why did you have to walk towards here? There's a way to the servant's quarters outside so, why did you come in?" Her voice increased.

"I wanted to..."

She cut in, "You wanted to what? Where did you even come from? I've been noticing the way you cling to everyone in this house, do you think you can leech off anybody here? You gutter creature, thief."

"That's enough oo, what do you mean by leech off? The fact that I'm working here doesn't mean I'll be like you, this place isn't your house, you're leeching off here too," I fired back and her eyes blazed.

"Are you talking to me?"

"Who else would it be? You better warn yourself, what's your problem? Why are you always behaving like you own the world?" I eyed her warily and she dashed at me.

Just as she raised her hand to slap me, Tise's voice stopped her.

"What's going on?"

"Can you believe this girl had the audacity to insult me?" She turned to Tise with a pitiful look. The way her voice turned pathetic was still baffling.

"Why are you at home? Today is Monday right and you don't have any public holiday, why didn't you go to school?"

"I have a shoot today."

"And so? Does that stop you from going to school?"

She pursed her lips, "You can't understand," then she picked her phone and stormed off.

Tise turned to me as he opened his mouth to talk but Crystal's voice beat him to it.

"K.Y, where have you been?" She approached me while Tise walked out of the house.

"I went to my sister's place."

"You are always going to her place, you need to take us there one day," she teased and I smiled before we both entered the kitchen.
